Spirit Talk is Steam Deck Playable and SteamOS Verified! 🎉
We have some exciting news to share ahead of launch: Spirit Talk has been rated Playable on Steam Deck and Verified for SteamOS! This means a lot to us at Tortita Studio — not just as a badge, but as a confirmation of something we've been committed to from day one. Built on Linux, tested on Steam DeckHere's a little behind-the-scenes detail: Spirit Talk was developed 100% on Linux. From writing the first line of code to building the final release, the entire programming side of the game happened on a Linux machine. (Our illustrator worked on Windows 10 with Photoshop — we won't hold it against her. 🎨) More importantly, a Steam Deck was present throughout the entire development process. Not as an afterthought — as an actual development and QA tool. A huge portion of our quality assurance was done directly on the device, checking that every scene, every interaction, and every transition felt right on that screen. One of the best ways to play Spirit TalkJulia's journey through Spirit Town, the hand-drawn art, the quiet moments between spirits — I genuinely believe the Steam Deck is one of the best places to experience this game. Curled up on the couch, in bed, wherever you feel most cozy. That's exactly the vibe Spirit Talk is going for. Spirit Talk launches on June 8th. If you haven't yet, add it to your wishlist — and if you're a Steam Deck owner, this one's for you. 🥞 → Wishlist Spirit Talk on SteamRead full article on Community Announcements (tortitastudio)Patch NotesOfficial

The moment we've been working toward is finally here: Spirit Talk releases on June 8th on Steam. It's been a long road — nights spent writing dialogue, drawing characters by hand, and bringing Spirit Town to life one piece at a time. Today we're incredibly proud to finally say: it's almost here. 🎬 New Trailer 🤝 Thank You to Our Testers Spirit Talk wouldn't be the game it is today without the people who sat down with it, played it with care, and gave us their honest feedback.
