Embark on a perilous mission to recover sensitive data for the Felsat Organization in Sanity Break. As you navigate marked facilities, choose your class and face threats both external and internal in this action-packed indie RPG.

About this game

Beginning with a broadcast sent directly to your mind, you're then forced into a sinister world full of monsters that hide as shadows on the walls, while your mind melts and the world changes around you. Suit up, its going to be a long week.

Choose your class

Select your class and build your character - Choose between 4 unique classes with unique abilities and stats then build your character as you play

  • Brute - Strength and Power - Smash your way through hallways and let nothing stop you

  • Thief - Relying on speed and agility, with a powerful Dash that can move through objects in your way

  • Haggler - This worlds take on a Mage - Remotely accessing the shop anytime provides a major upper hand

  • Journeyman - Jack of all trades and master of none - The perfect class to carve out the playstyle you seem fitting

Every enemy requires a different approach

The monsters in this world prefer to not be seen. They hide as shadows on the wall, watching and following you. Some hide as a stool, a box, a statue, and they only move closer when you dont notice them. Some monsters cannot be seen by the naked eye, only be using an old mostly broken camera can you spot where they are when you hear them growling in your ear. And well... one likes to be seen, and will make its presence known.... relentlessly.

Robust Sanity System

Your mind may be the biggest threat of all... Keep your sanity meter full before the world warps around you. The further your sanity meter descends, you will see and hear things that may or may not be there, let it drain completely and you'll question everything you see.

Feel overpowered while underpowered

Grind your stats and you will have every advantage - speed, strength, money, mental fortitude... But don't forget these entities don't abide by the laws of physics.

Trial and Error

Every run is a desperate descent into procedurally generated dungeons where nothing stays the same for long. Time is limited—you have only five days to complete your objective. As you run out of resources, and the entities who have occupied these facilities seem to enjoy

Failure is inevitable, but not meaningless. Death, madness, and repetition feed into a larger cycle of growth. Survive, adapt, and carve your own path forward—if you can keep your grip on reality.

Small balance patch + Misc bugs and issues fix

Balance Changes 1. Flashlight Battery drain rate reduced from 4.8 to 2.8 2. Mimic Steal Amount reduced from $700 to $300 Flashlight Battery: I've noticed that the flashlight is pretty frustrating in the beginning of the run before you’ve leveled your intelligence, while its still an important mechanic I do want the player to be able to use the flashlight more frequently. So it should drain much slower now, and with a high Intelligence you should be able to use it for a long time. Mimic: Since mimics are hard to notice before you realize what they actually are, I wanted to make them less punishing. Originally my idea of them was, since they cant kill you I still wanted you to be afraid of them. But $700 was very punishing especially when you cant find them. $300 feels more appropriate. Bug fixes/ Misc updates 1. Fixed the issue where the amount of tapes you collected only displayed and X instead of the actual number during end game screens. 2. Fixed the issue for the displaying if you found the Church/ Hospital key just shows an X. It now says Yes or No 3. Fixed the Remote Shop Soft lock, you can no longer open the remote shop if you are in any sort of dead/ reviving state. 4. Journeyman Player Card now correctly displays R: (Flashlight) Red Beam instead of RMB: (Flashlight) Red Beam 5. End of game screen now correctly shows "Upgrade Required" for your end of game account balance if you have not yet purchased that upgrade. Otherwise if you have the upgrade it will display your account balance.

    Small Day 1 Patch

Bug Fixes 1. The player can no longer open up the visor when the Death Stats Screen appears 2. Progression bug has been fixed, occasionally unlockable rewards would not save and potentially cause bugs. 3. Clear all progression button has been added to the settings menu. If you want to re earn rewards you can clear any progression you've made UI 1. Class cards have been slightly updated, more clear description for classes. Overall more readable 2. Instructions have been updated, simplified and more to the point 3. Splash screen now says "Warning Intense Light Flickering" I just want to be clear that the visuals can be harsh and you could be careful if you are sensitive to those things. Added 20% Flashlight Battery Reward Chance When you destroy objects you have a small chance to get a little bit of flashlight battery now, i also made the chance of finding an Ink Bottle a little bit more rare Buffs. 1. Flashlight battery has been buffed. It drains at a slightly slower rate now. Nerfs. 2. All classes now begin with $200 and 2 Tokens. I had this initially at $500 and 5 Tokens. This took away from per run progression. Part of the fun is finding rewards and leveling up, I felt like progression felt less impactful when you started with such high currency.
