Perfect Porcelain invites you to explore a chilling 3D anime-styled horror world where your choices shape the lives of trapped girls. Navigate through Raiko’s twisted mansion, uncovering secrets that define their fate.
About this game
When Himeko gets invited to a tea party hosted by her old friend Raiko, she doesn’t know what to believe. After all, Raiko mentions that their friend Akane, who has been missing for fifteen years, will be there. Spurred by the hope of finding closure, Himeko visits Raiko’s house - only to find that it has been turned into a life-sized doll house, full of death and secrets.
Explore And Investigate
As Himeko, you get to search Raiko’s murder mansion for evidence to prove Raiko’s crimes. Collect items, explore locked rooms and avoid traps as you find out more about Raiko and the four other guests invited to the tea party.
Five Girls, Five Fates

Besides Himeko, four more girls have been invited to the tea party. It is up to you to uncover their fates - and influence them. You get to control all girls as you see their stories unfold. Your actions may even decide if the girls live or die.
Distract And Avoid
Be wary - Raiko is determined to not let anyone leave her house! Use everything at your disposal to distract and avoid Raiko as you try to get the girls out of the house safely. Sneak around to muffle your footsteps and turn off lights to limit Raiko’s vision. If things get too intense, block a door or hide somewhere. But be warned - Raiko knows her house better than anyone.

Perfect Porcelain v.1.0.1
Hello, everyone! We're here with a small fix of some pretty important things. If you encounter any other bugs, be sure to let us know and we'll try our best to fix them as soon as possible! Fixes The codelock should now unlock more smoothly. Now, as long as all applicable characters are alive and you input the correct code, the lock should unlock. The previous solution was a bit more convoluted to prevent cheating (that is, unlocking the lock at any point, for example by finding the correct code online). It required you to get very close to the doll cases in each character’s room, which for some reason didn’t trigger properly all the time. This new, simpler solution ensures that the general logic of the codelock remains, but also that it unlocks properly when it should It should no longer be possible to get stuck when attempting to exit a closet too quickly. Now, you aren’t able to leave until after the entering cutscene has played in full The bed and closet in Aka’s room when playing as Teruko should now function properly When playing as Teruko and discovering the exit point, the music should now stop correctly when the cutscene is over or skipped Added a missing line of the Swedish localization to Hitomi’s intro cutscene Adjustments Made most of Raiko’s materials a bit brighterRead full article on Community Announcements (Swordlake Entertainment)AnnouncementsOfficial
Perfect Porcelain Is Now Available!
Hello, everyone! Today is the day: Perfect Porcelain is officially released! After a bit more than a year of hard work and constantly learning new things on our side, this labor of love is now in your hands. We really hope that you enjoy it!Of course, as with all new releases, there may be some bugs that we as developers have missed. If you find any, don’t be afraid to make a post on the Steam forums or our Discord-server. We’ll do our very best to iron out any imperfections, just as Raiko would want it! We would love to hear your thoughts on the game in general, so feel free to reach out to us in whatever way is most comfortable for you! All of our social media pages are linked at the bottom of this post or on the game’s store pageAnd with that, I thought I should end this celebratory post with the condensed story of the game’s development. It has probably gone through more changes than you would expect…The history of Perfect PorcelainThe story of this game starts back in the mid 2010’s, probably around 2014, way before either of us had even looked at a game engine. The concept of Raiko and her obsession with dolls was present, as was Himeko as her childhood best friend. I’m pretty sure it was mostly just a story at that point, not a game. But in 2016, we began to dabble in game development, specifically in RPG Maker VX Ace. At that point, we were quite inspired by a lot of the Japanese pixel horror games being played by content creators. Naturally, those games and the game engine itself was a source of inspiration for the original concept for Perfect Porcelain. Some time passed after that. Then, around 2019, I felt the urge to make more pixel art and get back into RPG Maker. So, I picked up the story of Raiko again, turned it into a proper game concept and called it “The Dollmaker”. The story, all gameplay aspects and even a lot of the music was completed, and I started working on the pixel art, which was the only thing needed to start putting things together in RP...Read full article on Community Announcements (Swordlake Entertainment)AnnouncementsOfficial
Perfect Porcelain Demo Release
Hello, everyone! We are happy to announce the official release of the demo for Perfect Porcelain! If you haven’t already tried the demo, it can be downloaded for free on the game’s store page.Demo summary and informationIn the demo, you play as the character Teruko “Tenshi” Ogawa, an up-and-coming idol. After finishing a performance at a small venue, Teruko gets a surprise visit backstage by a strange girl. Soon after, Teruko wakes up in an unfamiliar mansion, chased by the same girl who brought her there. It is up to you to get Teruko out of the house alive.Teruko is one of four fully playable characters in the complete game. Both the demo and complete game are fully voiced by human actresses (we do not support the use of AI). The voice acting is only available in Japanese, but menus and subtitles are also available in English and Swedish.Teruko’s story won’t change much between the demo and the full game, and there will be no save transfers between the two, but we still figure that it is a good representation of the type of gameplay one can expect in the full game. Of course, not all mechanics are available in the demo, but the general gameplay loop is present. However, it is worth noting that the demo does not feature the possibility of a permanent death for Teruko, which the full game will.Full game releaseWe still have quite a bit of work left on the full game and we expect that the demo release will bring out some previously unknown bugs that we have to address as well. With all of that in mind, we can’t announce an exact release date for the full game yet. However, our goal is to get it out before the end of Spring. With that said, we hope that you have fun trying out the demo! Don’t forget to wishlist the game if you haven’t already - that way, you will get notified once the full game is released. We look forward to seeing what you get up to in the demo!/The Swordlake Entertainment-duoRead full article on Community Announcements (Swordlake Entertainment)
