About this game
Welcome to this spooky and cute 2D puzzle platformer where you must fight to keep your soul from the clutches of an evil mansion. Play as Gal, a brave older sister searching for her brother, Guy, inside the ominous Thornwood Palace that is filled with traps, animated household horrors, and light puzzle challenges.
Explore creepy rooms, overcome platforming challenges, and survive the mansion's tricks as it grows more dangerous with every step. With linear progression, playful scares, and a backdrop inspired by Victorian-era decor, this is a platforming adventure that pays ohmage to the creepiest haunted houses in literature.

Pause menu and checkpoint system update
I have had many folks tell me TWP is really hard, and that was never my intention for this game. To be more respectful of players time, I updated the checkpoint system to make the game less monotonous. Also fixed the pause menu (had some players tell me it was easy to accidentally quit to the main menu). Changes - updated the pause menu UI and added music volume control to it - updated the checkpoint system to allow the player to respawn in current room (vs having to start from the beginning of the level) - fixed some other smaller bugsRead full article on Community Announcements (jdrakedev)
