About this game

Sharpen your mind, climb to the top of the ranks, and prove your skill on the global stage. In this arena, there is no luck—only skill.

Arithmetic Arena is a competitive math-challenge game built on the ELO ranking system. Each challenge tests not only your speed and accuracy, but also your ability to stay calm and composed. Confidence and composure will let you truly enjoy the game and find fun in every challenge.

  • ELO & Ranking System: Completing challenges changes your ELO score, which reflects your current skill level in real time. Rise from beginner all the way to Master and beyond. As you climb, the difficulty increases sharply—keeping your brain constantly challenged.

  • Global & Friend Leaderboards: Track your rank in real time, challenge your friends, and compete with players from all around the world.

  • Endless Challenge: Whether you want a quick test or a long grind through the ranks, the arena dynamically adjusts difficulty based on your performance, ensuring the experience stays rewarding.

  • Instant Action: The game is highly optimized, allowing you to load, enter, and start a challenge in the shortest time possible—while staying light on system resources when running in the background.

  • Standard Challenge Mode: When you choose to begin, you’ll receive a single challenge tailored to your current ELO rating. Once you submit your answer, your ELO score will be adjusted based on the result. You can decide when to start your next challenge at any time.

  • Multiplayer Competitive Mode (Coming Soon): Party up with friends or let matchmaking pair you with players of similar skill. You’ll be paired with players whose ELO ratings are close to yours, competing in 1v1 or 2v2 battles. Challenge difficulty is determined by the average ELO of both teams. When a player submits an answer, their team will instantly see the result. If the challenge fails, the victory goes to the opposing team. The first team to secure 15 wins claims overall victory.

  • Multiplayer Co-op Mode (Coming Soon): Team up with friends or queue solo to be matched with players of similar ELO ratings. Groups of 2–4 players will work together to complete 25 challenges based on the team’s average ELO. Once a player submits an answer, the result is shown immediately and the team moves on to the next challenge. Final ELO adjustments are calculated from both team performance and individual contributions.

  • Rank & Leaderboard Rewards: Your rank is a reflection of your skill and experience. At the end of each season, exclusive badges and item rewards will be granted based on your final rank — a unique memento of that season. Players who reach the top of the leaderboard will also receive additional rewards according to their final standings.

Competitive Mode — Now in Limited Rollout

As one of the core modes of Arithmetic Arena, the Competitive Mode has undergone extensive development and is now entering a limited limited test rollout.Only a select number of players currently qualify for the Competitive Mode. Active game records, solid in-game conduct, and an ELO score of 1500 or above (Rank C+ or higher) are required to be eligible for automatic access. How to enter Competitive Mode?Players who qualify for Competitive Mode will also gain access to the Brand-New Lobby. You can click “Enter New Lobby” at the bottom-right corner of the main screen or launch the game with the parameter -ModernLobby to access the new lobby. The new lobby will launch in full-screen borderless window mode by default. You can manually switch between full-screen and windowed modes in the settings, and adjust graphics options and resolution to your preference.Once in the new lobby, click “Competitive Mode” to open the mode page. You may invite friends to form a team or enter solo-queue; the system will match you with suitable teammates or opponents.Note: Because the new lobby uses more resources compared to our minimalist original lobby and may conflict with our goal of extremely fast startup and load times, we will evaluate player feedback and may retain, adjust, or simplify parts (for example lowering visual quality on lower-end devices). How Competitive Mode works?\Competitive Mode uses a 2v2 round-based structure. In each round both teams receive the same challenge. When one player submits an answer, that answer is used for their team. The system compares it to the correct answer. If it’s correct, their team wins the round; if incorrect, they lose and the other team wins. Then the next round begins immediately. Each round has a time limit. If neither team submits within the time limit, the round is void. If the number of void rounds in a match reaches 3, the match ends immediately and is decided by the current score. (This rule is disabled in overtime.)The first team to...
