About this game

Rolling rogue – a game about dungeons and… dice that you can create, modify their faces, add to your deck, use to upgrade equipment, modify abilities, and much more!

Character and equipment abilities are governed by a deck of dice. The result of their use is determined by the faces that come up, which can be numerical, multipliers, simple and complex effects.

Game Features

Party-based Roguelike with high interaction level

Explore dungeons, fight cunning enemies, moving through rooms of diverse biomes. Besides battles, you'll encounter puzzles, friendly NPCs, companions ready to join your party. You can have up to 4 heroes at your disposal. By combining their features and tactics, you can conquer any heights. But solo adventures are also available!

Dice at the core of everything

The core of your character is their dice deck. Any ability uses dice from it, located at the beginning of the queue. This allows you to achieve different effects from the same skills. You can also add new dice to the deck, remove unwanted ones, shuffle, return from discard, manage as you please. Upgrade selected dice using stickers, increasing values on faces, replacing them with special effects, changing shape, or simply creating crazy combinations. Integrating any dice into empty item slots will allow you to always use specific dice when activating an ability, rather than random ones from the deck. Monsters play by the same rules, and many of them use unique dice that you'll want to steal.

Upgrade and dominate

After finishing a run, collected items are converted into gold, which can be spent in the sanctuary on various upgrades, goods, and features. As you progress through the story and venture into the dungeon, new characters will unlock. With experience gain, they will gain access to additional abilities, more powerful equipment, and dice.

A Bit About the Development Team or How Rolling Rogue Got Started

We’d like to briefly introduce the team - using nicknames. In the future, you’ll be able to ask questions using these nicknames to address a specific developer directly.Rogualex - level 80 programmer, the technical core and iron heart of the team. Possesses high intelligence, powerful expertise in his craft, and the ability to be in multiple places at once. Outwardly resembles a majestic wizard from classic RPGs. Has been crafting games for 21 years already and has fuel left for at least another 50. During his career, he has worked side by side with major companies such as MyGames and Alawar.Andrekazer - apostle of ideas, senior+++ extra golden premium game designer (by his own estimation), generator of concepts, the cool head of development. His hands are like the gloves of Midas - everything he touches turns to gold. When Andrekazer isn’t sleeping, he’s game designing - and he’s never sleeping. Has been paving the way to creating great games for 9 years now, marching under the banner of MyGames and other powerful studios.Already far from being green beginners, but brave seasoned men, THEY met in the virtual tavern to discuss the state of the gamedev market. In passing, Rogualex dropped a couple of precious lines about his old prototypes and even showed them in action. And so the nights went on (just two of them), thoughts were thought. What Andrekazer saw wouldn’t let him rest, so he took up his scrolls and sketched out a presentation that modified Rogualex’s idea. The new blueprints looked extremely attractive and inspiring to both of them. That’s when THEY realized: this is it! The real thing! And so they began the standard procedure of developing a project from idea to release, following the proven methods of experienced specialists: GDD, roadmap, marketing plans, and so on.Somewhere along the way, the decision was made to create an indie studio and name it Standalone Pixel Studio.Thank you for your attention!
