Urban Golf: Hot Dog Edition transforms your city into a golf course, offering freedom and creativity as you break free from conventional courses. No dress code or strict rules — just the open streets of 2026.

About this game

Play golf in a range of unconventional locations, aiming to rack up the highest score possible by hitting a variety of unique targets. Chain your shots to build up a score multiplier and beat the clock to set a new high score.

Want to land your ball on top of a skyscraper? Go for it! Then scale the side of it and hit your next shot. Climb apartment blocks and zipline between rooftops. Whether on foot or in a golf cart, every corner of the environment is yours to explore.

Don’t let the surroundings get in your way. Master rich swing mechanics to show off your skills. Curve shots around buildings or adjust your trajectory to escape difficult situations.

Take aim at a variety of risk vs reward targets. Couple this with the shot multiplier, that increases the longer the ball stays in the air, and you have the chance to pull of the spectacular shots when it matters the most

Each level hides collectables and power ups. Collect them to complete objectives, unlock new levels, or give your next shot a serious boost

And the best part? Every shot you take and every target you hit is recorded, building a complete replay of your game. Challenge other players’ replays in your own session. Watch their shots play out in real time, then see if you’ve got what it takes to beat their score.

    V1.22 Released

While this release doesn't bring any new content, there are plenty of changes behind the scenes that make the game more robust. There is one visual change: a new splash screen has been created. This should hopefully also result in quicker initial startup times.

    Take on the impossible challenge

This update brings a brand-new game mode... The Impossible Challenge. This mode will put your skills to the ultimate test. Each level features several score-based targets spread throughout the course. It's up to you which order you hit them in. Once a target has been hit, it disappears. Hit every target to complete the level. Here's the catch: there are no power-ups, and the course conditions have been turned up to maximum difficulty.Bronze, Silver and Gold medals are up for grabs, but earning them won't be easy. You'll need to chain together successful target-hit combos to build the massive scores required to claim the top rewards.Combine that with the increased emphasis on shot shaping and precise swing timing, and you've got the toughest challenge yet.

    Update 1.2 available

I’m back again with a small tweak this time to the camera settings following some great feedback from a Spanish player. The camera movement sensitivity has now been separated from the general movement sensitivity and can now be set lower than before. This is especially helpful when using a controller. As always, if you see anything you think could be improved or that would help the wider player base, please let me know on Discord. I am always happy to take a look and get it resolved. Thanks Matt

    Update 1.1 now live

I have now started work on the next round of features I would like to add to the game During this time I have been making some small tweaks behind the scenes to the current version While many of these are too small to mention the one improvement in this release is that the names of the players will now display over the top of the replay balls in the level. This is aimed at making it clearer that these are not balls you can hit yourself.

    It’s Finally Time

After more than 5 years of development, the day is finally here. Urban Golf: Hot Dog Edition has been released. This game has been built in those small windows of free time in the evenings, after the kids had gone to bed. It has been a long journey, and without a doubt the biggest project I have ever taken on. There were definitely moments where it felt like I might have bitten off more than I could chew, so reaching this point feels really special. Here are a few personal highlights from the journey:• Getting the ball to land correctly within the shot circle based on shot quality • Making the "Perfect Shot" aiming arc account for wind and accurately show the landing position • Taking my very first swing after implementing controller support • Wiring up all the climbing logic in the city level. This took a full week on its own • Solving camera angles for tight shots between buildings • Figuring out how to let players apply spin mid air, with a lot of maths involvedThank you to everyone who supported me along the way. It really did make a difference. Now, go and hit some ridiculous shots! Thanks, Matt
