  Good day, Merchants!Today's Roads & Riches Demo update brings a caravan-load of changes, new features, and extra ways to customize your workflow! This technological wonder will let you add items directly to your cart to help restock your shelves in the moment!By holding TAB, you can bring up a new radial menu to also bring out a Crate or Paint Bucket as well! Deep pockets, indeed!Helping Hands - Automation Upkeep and GatheringYour magical shop-keeping buddies have new capabilities - and new needs! Gather gems and knowledge to fuel your automated caravan activities and keep things running smoothly. Thankfully, Automatons can now Gather resources from the surrounding area using the most modern mercantile technology! They've also cleaned up their interactions with stocking and Storage (which now also has updated icons!).Fit & Fortune - Improved Character CustomizationYour shop, your journey, your outfit! We've improved some character customization options, including new eye colors, making eyebrows match hair color, head customization changes, and some camera/character interactions to make your fashion-building a bit smoother.That also means it's the perfect time for a few improvements to Photo Mode - strike a pose!Tourism Boom - Lookout PointsWhat's travel without a little sight-seeing?   The First Roads & Riches Playtest!

  Hello Merchants!Time for your first steps on the Roads & Riches journey! Today, we're launching our first public playtest! This is a small preview of the main game, built to help us gather feedback and fix bugs - while also giving you a sense of what to expect from the full game!Please note: as this is an early preview build of the game, things are likely to change during development. Saved games may behave strangely over time as we iterate!What's In The Playtest?The Roads & Riches Playtest lets you play the opening content of the main game, trading and exploring throughout the first major region, with multiplayer support! You'll be able to customize and expand your caravan, build longer-lasting relationships with patrons, discover unique treasures, and more! Good luck with your bustling business!There's also an ever-present Bug-Report keybind that you should press early and often, as we'll get a snapshot of the current session, which is invaluable when fixing issues!How Do I Access The Playtest?We're sending out an initial wave of invites to people who have signed up for the playtest on Steam! If you've been invited, you'll also be able to invite up to 3 of your friends!We'll be sending out more and more invites over the next weeks so that we have new playtesters as we fix bugs and make improvements.If you want to skip the line, we have extra playtest keys available on our Discord. We'll be actively chatting, iterating on builds, and collecting feedback as we hear it!What Comes Next?On the main menu, there's a Survey button available! It's quick - with some optional fields if you'd like to go into detail after checking out the playtest.
