Local Publishing Fixes
Hi all,Some small changes in the backend for this release will make publishing more robust and levels smaller overall (which improves loading times). Publishing now requires a score/run time posted at the same time (this is to avoid cheating)Local edits now run through checks and balances (this is to avoid cheating)Creator Name and Avatar are now pulled remotely so no longer embedded in level data (avoids stale data)Simplified and fixed some basic bugs around viewing levels and publishing/unpublishingIncreased limits to most of the items in the gameRead full article on Community Announcements (ManChickenTurtle)Patch NotesOfficial
Translation-Ready and Faster Code
Hi all! Today is a very small update that builds in support for translations across the whole game (every button, text element and more!) - defaulting to English at the moment. I will be aiming for English and Simplified Chinese on public launch, with requested languages to follow. The other backend-type change is the way the code is validated and more. Overall, I've cleaned up a lot of basic functions to be more efficient, which will just make things more robust going forward.Have a great week!Read full article on Community Announcements (ManChickenTurtle)Patch NotesOfficial
Hotfixes: Menu Refresh and Level Editor Placement Overlap
Quick one! The level list menus weren't always refreshing when coming back to certain tabs. Rebuilt some of the menu logic to fix this and make it more flexible/future proof. There was an odd bug in placements which meant you couldn't place rotated objects over others (collisions were incorrect) so this is now sortedThe music icon is not a loveheart anymore - be still your beating heartRead full article on Community Announcements (ManChickenTurtle)
