Hi everyone! It’s already been a week since Bottle Cracks launched, and I just want to say a huge thank you for all the feedback and for playing the game! I absolutely love seeing all the times on the leaderboards! Some of them are insane!Below, you’ll find everything we’ve added in this update, along with the fixes and changes.FeaturesAdded Race Mode to Local Play! This mode supports up to 4 players, with split screen making it easier to race together.Added Special Settings, which let you customize your runs and add more variety to your games! Change your bottle’s durability, your bottle’s size, and enable infinite jumps, allowing you to jump in mid-air! Enabling any Special Settings will disable achievements, progression and global leaderboard for that run.Fixes & ChangesUpdated Wall of Fire in Local Play to use split screen and support up to 4 players, addressing several camera-related issues that could lead to a less enjoyable experience.Fixed an issue in Seaside Town where the explosive barrel could explode more than once in online games if two players collided with it at the same time.Removed an object from Acid Moat – Level 2 that could trap players.Fixed an issue with the rotating platforms in Acid Moat where non-host players in online games could not see the chains rotating properly.Fixed synchronization issues in Acid Moat with the acid balls and trap doors.Fixed Lush Jungle – Level 3. Bottle Cracks – Patch Notes v1.0.1
Here are the first fixes found in Bottle Cracks! This update is currently only available on Windows. The Mac version will take a little longer to catch up, but don’t worry, Mac players on 1.0.0 can still join the same rooms as Windows players on 1.0.1. However, you may encounter some visual or gameplay inconsistencies when playing across different versions.Fixed an issue where players could get stuck at the end of Level 1 - Skatepark, leaving them unable to move.Fixed an issue where players could be broken by another player before the match had started.Fixed an issue where players could move before the other players if they died and respawned before the match had started.Fixed several moving platforms that weren't detecting players correctly.Chairs in Whimsy HouseSkulls in Acid MoatDinosaurs in Jurassic DesertFixed an issue in Level 3 - Jurassic Desert where the suction-head sounds could be heard from too far away.Fixed a strange collider in Level 3 - Castle Cuckoo.Fixed lag spikes that could occur whenever a new song started playing.Fixed an issue where a private room would appear as "Public" after finishing a match, even though the room was still actually private.Fixed an issue on Mac where the selected resolution wasn't being saved.Fixed a visual issue in Level 4 - Whimsy House where playing as an Angel during the Wall of Fire mode could allow players to see parts of the map outside the house.More fixes and improvements are on the way! The next thing I’m prioritizing is adding split-screen for local play! Thanks for helping us find these bugs!
