Navigate through a desolate underground maze as you uncover secrets of Live-D Corporation. Use your surroundings and manage resources to escape before the experiment consumes you.

About this game

Live-D Corporation slowly took control of society, enforcing their power through a private army and secret human experiments. Captured and taken to a hidden underground complex, former soldier Marius was subjected to a serum meant to grant eternal life - instead he fell into a coma and awakened ten years later immune to the experiment, only to find the abandoned facility overrun by alien-like creatures created from failed test subjects that spread and destroyed the world.

Fight to survive, uncover what happened during those ten years, and find your way back to the surface.

DYNAMIC COMBAT

Combat is intense and grounded, with weapons that feature realistic recoil, bullet spread, and physical impact. Every shot matters, and every encounter can play out differently depending on how you use your tools and surroundings. Grenades can clear groups instantly, while well-timed environmental explosions can save precious ammo.

PHYSICS-DRIVEN WORLD

The world of LeftUnknown is built around physics and interactivity. Most objects aren’t just props - they can be moved, thrown, stacked, or used creatively. The environment reacts to your actions, letting you solve problems, fight enemies, or create opportunities using the world itself.

SURVIVAL & RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Survival depends on preparation and smart decision-making. Your inventory has limited space and is weight-based, forcing you to balance firepower with essentials. You’ll need to monitor your health, stamina, and injuries, using med-kits, food, and bandages to stay in fighting condition. Scavenging, buying, and selling items becomes key to long-term survival.

ENVIRONMENTAL STORYTELLING

The story unfolds through exploration. Scattered notes and diaries reveal what happened inside the facility, but they also serve a practical purpose. Players who pay attention can discover door codes, and clues that lead to valuable rewards.

SANDBOX FREEDOM

LeftUnknown embraces player experimentation. Console commands allow you to spawn objects, enable god mode, or manipulate the world for fun. Whether you want a serious survival experience or a chaotic sandbox playground, the choice is yours.

NIGHTMARE MODE

Nightmare Mode offers a pure survival challenge for players who want to test their limits. Face endless waves of enemies and fight to stay alive as long as possible. Every kill earns points, and every second survived pushes your score higher. Compete against friends or players worldwide on the leaderboards and prove how long you can last when the odds never stop stacking against you.

    Update 1.4

Hello everyone,Update 1.4 is here! This time, the main focus was on polish, balancing, and optimization.1. Rework of old rooms and hallwaysThese areas of the map were very outdated and visually jarring. They have now been reworked to match the quality level of the latest map expansions.2. Nightmare Mode reworkI completely redid Nightmare Mode. Enemies now spawn based on the room you are currently in, instead of using the old system, which was purely distance-based.The old system had a major flaw: if the player stayed in a room with small doorways for a long time, drones could spawn in other rooms and never reach the player because they couldn't fit through the doorways. Since they couldn't reach the player, they would never be destroyed, causing more and more drones to spawn endlessly. This would eventually fill up the rooms, consume a lot of memory, cause the game to lag, and make those rooms inaccessible because entering them would mean almost certain death. With the new system, I can now control which spawners are activated and which enemy types are allowed to spawn in each room. This makes the system feel more "scripted" and less random. You can learn where enemies spawn, which doorways they come from, and which enemy types can appear in each room. I think this is a much better approach for a game mode like this. The new system also improved performance and made the experience more consistent. No matter which room you are currently in, there will be roughly the same number of active spawners, placed in logical locations so that enemies don't have to walk long distances or spawn in places where they can't reach the player.Item prices now increase each time you buy something from the same spot, encouraging you to move around, explore the map, and avoid staying in one place for too long. The map was expanded with the addition of B Sector, connecting the areas into an "8" shape. This lets you move through the map more freely and gives you more ways to avoid risky situa...

    Update 1.3

Hello everyone! It's been a long wait for you and a lot of work for me, but I can confidently say that the 1.3 update is finally ready. It includes a new map expansion, a new monster, improved enemy behavior, performance optimizations, and many other fixes and improvements.1. Reactor Sector ExpansionThis took the most time and effort to create, and it's by far the biggest addition in this update. The Reactor Sector has been completely redesigned and expanded, including a main hall, control room, storage rooms, and connecting hallways. This sector acts as the finale of the first level (Prison). Once completed, it will unlock an elevator leading to the next level (Sewers), which will be added in the future updates.2. New Monster: Fatty!Fatty is huge, slow, has a lot of health, and deals massive damage - basically a tank. It can also shoot acid balls that explode on impact, leaving behind acid puddles that damage player if they step in them.Use bigger guns or throw a few grenades to take it down efficiently.3. Enemy Behavior and Spawning ImprovementsIn this update, I completely redesigned enemy spawning. Spawning is now much more scripted and controlled through triggers and event spawners, replacing the previous approach that relied mostly on distance-based spawning. This change significantly improves the flow of the game and allowed me to remove enemy respawning entirely. Now, if you clear an area, it stays clear.I also felt that Rib and Leggy monsters were too easy to deal with, so I've made them much more aggressive. They now move faster and pursue the player more relentlessly. This also makes the stamina system more important, as you'll need to sprint more often to maintain distance. The less health you have and the more items you're carrying, the less stamina you'll have available, making it harder to escape dangerous situations.Enemies have become a bit smarter as well. They can now hear gunshots and react accordingly. Depending on their distance from the source of ...
