A Midlife Crisis Never Looked So Violent
Meet Birger the Bastard. Decades ago, he was the undisputed, blood-soaked terror of Jordenheim. Today? He’s an over-the-hill, middle-aged grump whose knees pop louder than thunder and who desperately misses the glory days of yore. Instead of buying a flashy new longship to cope with his Viking midlife crisis, Birger has decided to sprint headfirst into endless danger to prove he’s still top dog. What could possibly go wrong?

Die, Upgrade, Complain, Repeat
Don't let the gray beard fool you. The action here is mercilessly fast. You’ll be dodging, slashing, and sprinting through the Norse-inspired world of Jordenheim. Because this is a rogue-lite, Birger is going to bite the dust—a lot. Fortunately, Valhalla doesn't want him yet, and death is just an excuse to catch his breath and spend his hard-earned loot.
Between runs, hit the local camp to patch up Birger's aging arsenal. Enhance your weapons, unlock new perks, and chug questionable consumables to give this tired anti-hero the edge he needs to run just a little bit further on the next attempt.
