v0.9.06 - More Employees & Better Factory Management
Hi miners, 😄Thank you very much for your continued support, reports, feedback, and suggestions. After several recent updates focused on expanding late-game content and improving performance, this update focuses more on making larger mining operations easier to manage. We have added more employees for higher-level progression, expanded Machine Management with direct process speed controls, extended Delivery Train capacity upgrades, and improved several management and information systems throughout the game. There are also several building and visual fixes included in this update. Here is what is available in the latest version.Main Updates1. More EmployeesThe maximum available employee roster has been increased from 20 to 30 employees. The 10 additional employees become available gradually throughout the later progression, from Level 22 up to Level 40.This gives larger mining operations more employees to recruit as production areas, delivery routes, and automation continue to expand.2. Process Speed Control in Machine ManagementSupported machines can now have their process speed changed directly through Machine Management. Each supported machine card now includes a process speed control with:SlowMediumFastPreviously, changing process speed required interacting directly with the machine or its monitor. This can now be handled centrally through Machine Management, making it easier to adjust multiple production lines without walking to each machine individually.3. Extended Delivery Train CapacityDelivery Train capacity progression has been expanded with five additional upgrade levels. The new capacity upgrades are:3,250 capacity — available from Level 323,500 capacity — available from Level 343,750 capacity — available from Level 364,000 capacity — available from Level 384,250 capacity — available from Level 40These upgrades are available through the existing Delivery Train upgrade system and apply across all currently available Delivery Trains. This extends Delivery Train progr...Read full article on Community Announcements (Bewolba Studios)AnnouncementsOfficial
v0.8.56 - Smoother Large Factories & Expanded Train Capacity
Hi miners, 😄Thank you very much for your continued support, reports, feedback, and suggestions.Following the performance improvements introduced in the previous update, we are continuing our optimization work with a larger set of improvements aimed at more developed and complex mining facilities. This update includes optimizations for loading, saving, Main Menu responsiveness, employee task searching, world information displays, and additional background systems that can become heavier as factories continue to grow.We have also rebalanced the mining spot pools in Cave Area 3 based on player feedback, and expanded Delivery Train progression with additional capacity upgrades.Performance results may still vary depending on the device, save size, and factory layout. These improvements are part of our ongoing optimization work, and we will continue reviewing performance and making further improvements in upcoming updates. Here is what is available in the latest version.Performance Improvements1. Faster Loading, Saving & Main Menu ResponsivenessWe have made several improvements to reduce the workload involved when opening, loading, and saving larger game saves.Large and heavily developed saves should now load more efficiently, while the loading screen remains more responsive during the process.Saving has also been optimized to reduce the amount of work required when storing large amounts of factory data. The Main Menu has also been improved so save information can be handled more efficiently, reducing unnecessary waiting when opening the menu with larger or multiple save files. The impact of these improvements may vary depending on the size of the save and the device being used.Existing save files remain compatible with these changes.2. Dense Factory Display OptimizationLarge factories can contain many boxes, machines, racks, monitors, and information displays that do not always need to remain active when they are far away from the player. To reduce unnecessary processing, sev...Read full article on Community Announcements (Bewolba Studios)AnnouncementsOfficial
v0.8.06 - More Delivery Trains & Smoother Late-Game Performance
Hi miners, 😄Thank you very much for your continued support, reports, feedback, and suggestions.Following the recent expansion of the late-game progression, this update focuses primarily on improving performance for larger and more developed saves. We have optimized several systems that can become heavier as mining operations continue to grow, including how large amounts of stored items are handled and how employees search for certain tasks. We have also added three more Delivery Trains for later progression, improved keyboard input prompts, and added content monitors to additional conveyor machines.Performance results may still vary depending on the device, save size, and factory layout. These improvements are part of our ongoing optimization work, and we will continue reviewing performance and making further improvements in upcoming updates. Here is what is available in the latest version.Main Updates1. More Delivery TrainsThree additional Delivery Trains are now available as players continue progressing through the later Levels:Delivery Train Cave 1B — available from Level 25Delivery Train Cave 3B — available from Level 30Delivery Train Cave 3C — available from Level 35Each train can be purchased individually after reaching its required Level. These additional trains provide more delivery options as mining operations expand across different Cave Areas and production volumes continue to increase.Performance Improvements1. Late-Game Performance & Save OptimizationWe have made further optimizations for larger saves with more developed mining operations.Starter Machines containing very large amounts of stored items now use a lighter save-data system. This can significantly reduce the amount of data that needs to be stored in certain large saves, helping reduce save size, memory usage, and loading workload. We have also optimized how employees search for certain tasks. This particularly affects activities such as:Toxic Gas handlingBox mergingEmployees can now search for the...Read full article on Community Announcements (Bewolba Studios)AnnouncementsOfficial
