The Soulchain Public Playtest is OUT

Hey! We're really excited to announce that the PUBLIC PLAYTEST FOR SOULCHAIN IS OUT NOW! To join, click the button in the game's store page! What does the Playtest include? If you didn't know, Soulchain is a precision-platformer with metroidvania-like progression that uses a physics-based grappling hook as its core mechanic. During the playtest, you'll get to try out this grappling hook and see for yourself how it combines precision with physical accuracy.Another key feature of Soulchain is its structure. It is a metroidvania, yeah, but it also doesn't have items. Instead, progression is locked by knowledge and skill with the movement system. You'll often ignore passages that seem unreachable, only to come back later and realize that you could always have reached them with the right use of the grapple. You'll get to experience that during the playtest. Your first playthrough will probably take 15-20 minutes to get to the ending, but come back after that and it'll take you about 1 hour to completely explore the map.Giving FeedbackWe've validated the game in a good couple of physical events and we're pretty happy with how it is, but remember that this is a playtest! If you'd like to give feedback, share speedrun records, or just talk about the game, please consider joining our Discord. Find the link below!https://linktr.ee/moragumaAnd that's it! Hope you'll enjoy Soulchain just as much as we're enjoying making it.See you in the Afterlife!Moraguma

Getting to see people enjoying the game has been wonderful, but our sights have actually been set somewhere else these past few months... If you haven't heard of it, Soulchain is a metroidvania meets precision-platformer about using your soul as a grappling hook to explore the seasons of the Afterlife. We have been working on it since before we started on Sisyphus Is a Bug, and are coming close to the announcement of a public demo. But, before we bring the game to a wider audience, we are organizing a closed beta so we can iron out a few quirks. Wanna get early access to our upcoming game and get your name in the credits? You can join our Discord and sign up via the forms below to get a chance to participate! We'll be selecting 25 people for this first batch, but more people might get called later if the game needs it. We'll contact selected participants with demo keys NEXT WEEK! ✅ Playtester forms: https://forms.gle/nDZynmMAPd8qgC2FA💬 Join our Discord: https://discord.gg/xp6dhY65AsIn other news, if you haven't yet played our other games Sisyphus Is a Bug ⚡ or Candle Prick 🕯️, now's your chance, as both of them will be discounted starting tomorrow for the Cerebral Puzzle Showcase! 🧩 For now, we leave you with a couple new screenshots of the new content we have been working on for Soulchain.
