A playtester thought my clouds were a UFO invasion
Every sailing game needs weather, so clouds went on the to-do list early. The low-poly cloud models from my asset library looked charming and poofy from ground level.Fleet Tycoon, however, is a top-down strategy game, and from above, those same models looked like jagged, angular messes hurtling across the map. It wasn't a priority, so it stayed on the backlog...Until one playtester asked, completely sincerely: "Are we being attacked by UFOs?" The clouds were replaced the same day.
