About this game
Hollow Stories: Lockdown is a survival horror noir game set in the 1990s, where every corner hides secrets and nothing is what it seems. Players must uncover a web of police corruption and a hidden cult operating from the shadows, facing moral dilemmas, crime, and violence in a city under siege.
Inspired by late-90s horror and suspense classics, the game blends cinematic fixed cameras with first-person aiming, delivering a neo-retro experience that mixes exploration, tension, and strategic combat. The classic inventory system increases tension by limiting resources, forcing players to make careful, high-stakes decisions.

The Hollow listen... and we're acting
We want to take a moment to openly address the use of AI-generated voices in Hollow Stories: Lockdown. The English voices currently in the game are placeholders. We are not native English speakers, and as a fully self-funded indie team, we did not have the budget to hire professional voice actors at this stage of development. The AI voices were used strictly as a temporary solution to make the experience more accessible and coherent for English-speaking players. Thanks to the incredible support of the community and everyone who believes in the potential of this project, we are already planning to replace all AI-generated voices with real voice actors in the full version of the game. Our goal is to deliver a more authentic and emotionally grounded experience. We truly believe that feedback is what shapes better games. Your support, criticism, bug reports, and suggestions are not only welcome, they are essential. We are making TITANIC efforts to fix issues, improve performance, and polish every aspect of the experience.
