  Patch 1.19.002 | Nexus of Nightmares

  Hey all! Another day, another patch to clean up some left-over bugs from the Nexus of Nightmares update! This patch introduces: - 2 New shrines (added in 1.19.001) - 2 New puzzles (added in 1.19.001) - New interactions in the Dreamwell Campfires Bugfixes: - Improved the way the game handles phased fights - Prevented a softlock with the blurred background screen - Studied Strike now correctly increases damage for copies played - Prevented a softlock from enemy playing snares/scraptraps - Improved and adjusted various tooltips Other - Vastly improved French localization - Various bugfixes for screenreaders

  Nexus of Nightmares is here!

  Hey all!Welcome to the Nexus of Nightmares update, a brand-new expansion for Dawncaster.What's in the box?A Dawncaster expansion update has 2 major components:A free update available to everyone. 70+ new cards to discover, new features and content, and much more (see below).An optional paid content expansion (DLC), adding 3 new zones and over 30 challenging encounters to the game.The free content updateNexus of Nightmares adds 70 new player cards to the game. These cards expand on many of the archetypes introduced during the Synthesis card expansion, as well as opening up new playstyles for your favorite classes.In addition, this major 1.19 update introduces:Puzzles! A brand-new way to learn the basics of the game and to test your game knowledge, with 13 challenges and more to come.Foiling! Make your favorite cards extra shiny by upgrading them to premium versions. By popular demand, you can now go to the Codex and spend extra Fateshards to really bling up the cards you'll be playing most.The paid DLCIn addition to the free content, Nexus of Nightmares also adds a brand-new storyline, a new NPC, 3 new areas, and over 30 challenging encounters to the game. The DLC is optional content and can be purchased via the store. This supports the game and helps us continue to create more content for Dawncaster.*Note: the DLC might not be available on day 1 of the patch release, as it has to be approved by Steam.   Nexus of Nightmares Mini-expansion Spoilers #1

  Here we gooooooo - spoiler season is here 🥳 The first spoilers of our upcoming content expansion Nexus of Nightmares!These cards are part of the mini expansion, which will be part of the Nexus of Nightmares update, available for free for everyone, regardless of purchase of the expansion.Mini expansions develop existing archetypes with features of the last major card expansion (Synthesis), and open up new ways to play them, and improving the synergy between the new cards and the older sets.It's looking to be a good one, so we're excited to share our designs with you over the coming weeks 🙂The cards🐶 Good Boy creates a new type of Ingredient, a special treat for those extra good companions that keep you in the fight!🌈 Radiant Surge has the Knight return to our very first cards: The Surges. During NoN, knights will use these deceptively simple cards to fuel all sorts of powersuits and weaponry to great effect.👯 Repetition continues the Seeker trend of finding new ways to replay a small set of card repeatedly.🌩️ Shock Collar combines the two sub themes of our Arcanist archetypes, and adds and even darker shade to the mix with a card that lets the Sacrifice their companion to restore Health.More spoilers will be released here over the coming weeks leading up to the release, so keep an eye on this channel ^^

  Hey all! This minor hotfix addresses the following issues: - The new card Ascetic was not indexed correctly and getting removed from decks/appearing from conjurations incorrectly. - Added the option to enable Vsync to the settings > display menu - Added some missing localization entries - Improved various screenreader descriptions for portraits and enemies That's all for this update!
