About this game

SEX, DRUGS, & ROCK 'N' ROLL!

Join the gritty world of an up-and-coming little rock band working hard to make it big. This fast-paced roguelike deckbuilder is the latest band simulation game from the developer of Rising Star 2.

But this ain't your typical deckbuilder

Maximize your score by playing cards from your hand in the most optimal order for the chosen song. Get your feet wet by playing a few paid gigs before jumping into some battle of the bands. Meet up with some friends on the road to help you out, and take advantage of local connections to get you the goods needed to kick even more ass.

Go on Tour

Your band consists of songs, cards, instruments, and collectibles. Play gigs to earn money to buy new stuff to prepare for battle opponents that get more difficult as the venues get larger.

Battle for relevance. If you lose all relevance, your tour will be cancelled. But don't be discouraged if you fail - it's all part of the journey.

Features

  • Deck-building core gameplay, focusing on optimal sequencing.

  • Various card types, collectibles, and consumables to manipulate gigs on the fly and maximize your audience scores.

  • Beat venue bosses to progress to bigger venues and audiences.

  • Unlock various starting decks for unique playthrough challenges.

  • Each game is randomized, creating a unique experience on each playthrough.

  • Random events give each tour a unique experience while you get to know your band at a personal level.

  • A huge variety of music across 18 sub-genres of rock & metal.

  • More attitude than a wild rock band on tour.

    Minor patch, and status update

v0.8.386 • Fixed bug that would prevent tour progress meter from appearing when beating a boss after loading a save game straight into the boss fight. • Fixed displayed lyrics for the boss song "Frisk Your Girlfriend". • Added the word "Demo" to the "Tour Completed" message for demo version. In other news, I've gotten back to recording soundtrack music, and I have 6 new songs all finished up, and a handful just waiting for vocals to get recorded. I'm waiting for vocals from a couple of different singers so there's more variety in the next youtube video series instead of 5 songs from a single singer. Hoping to have that out in the next week or two.

Interesting ways to break strings & drum heads (and prevent it)

    • Added progress meters toward breaking a bass string, guitar string, and drum head. Increases with each matching instrument card played. When at 100%, a technical problem card is shuffled into the player's deck. • Added Meta-Collectibles for instrument techs to reduce the frequency of a broken bass string, guitar string, and drum head. • Added "Stabilize Equipment" consumable buff to reset progress toward a broken bass string, guitar string, and drum head.
