Explore the abandoned mansion in the swamp

Find the secrets and mysteries hidden in the mansion and face the dangers within. Confront the witches and take revenge on them for the terrors they caused in the past. Malleus Malleficarum is a metroidvania inspired by classics of the past, such as Metroid and Castlevania.

With its retro visual style, feel a nostalgic effect as you find new weapons that will help you move through the scenario intelligently, face powerful monsters, discover the witches' past, and take revenge for their Machiavellian actions.

    New launch month and some quality of life adjustments

    Letter to youFirst of all, thank you all for the support and feedbacks that everyone is giving in the forum and in the reviews. It's being so amazing to see you guys commenting there and we are so happy with the reception.With that being said, I promissed that we would say something about the launch date yesterday, however we had to delay the news one day (sorry about this cdizon26 ːsteamsadː).     Small fixes and adjustments

    Hello again, some more bugs reported by the community (yes, you guys!!) have been resolved:Added controller support in the main menu buttons;Frogs now have a random idle timer;Camera smooth partially removed due to some graphical glitches;Fixed bug where the hag head (aka: flamethrower) was crashing the game.Thanks for all the feedback and reports, more changes concerning game balancing are being made, so stay tunned!     Steam Next Fest Update and Small fixes

    First of all We at Hairgression just wanted to say THANK YOU!!! for everyone that took a time for playing our demo. We have been working on this game for almost a year, mostly on our spare time, and we are soo happ seeing so many of different people for all over the world playing Malleus Maleficarum. We promisse that we are going to work hard for delivering an amazing game at the final version. Fixes and improvments That being said, we made some fixes in issues that were reported to us, so here is a list to them: Auto maximize when opening the demo;Fixed bug related to moving Mirabel with a joystick;Improved visuals and behaviour on the tutorial and pop up menus;Tutorials no longer appears when entenring in their respective areas;Little smooth added to the vertical follow of the camera;We are aware of some other bugs that are happening and we are working on them, but please let us know if you see anything out of the ordinary. Thank you all again for giving Malleus a try and stay tunned for the future! Bye Bye!
