Explore a mysterious train journey across continents in Quiet Express: Cabin 909. Developed by Kazuhide Oka and his studio, take on the role of a passenger on a seven-day voyage filled with enigmas and discoveries.

About this game

In Quiet Express: Cabin 909, you spend seven days on the titular train, journeying from one side of the continent to the other.

You're looking for Cabin 909, a cabin that shouldn't exist on the train.

As you do this, you'll meet the other passengers, all spending their week-long journey in different ways. And as you talk to them and help them out with their problems, you'll get ever closer to Cabin 909.

Puzzle Piece Cabins

You wake up in the rearmost cabin on the Quiet Express, and you make your way to the last cabin at the front.

Every time you open a door, you may find a different cabin... and you get to choose what cabin it is.
There are passenger cabins, restaurant cabins, storage cabins, and more. You get three choices, and by exploring, you may even find ways to get a different selection of choices, or an additional choice each time you open a door.

All cabins are all connected, and by changing the way that they are joined to each other, you may reach new places and learn something more about this strange train.
Why is that door locked?
Why doesn't that switch do anything?
What's that space above the ceiling?
The Quiet Express hides many a mystery.

Fellow Travelers

Every time the train stops, a fresh batch of passengers joins the convoy.

Some are half-human beasts, some are giants, some are homunculi... But the age of discrimination is over, and it's becoming easier for all of them to ride together, as equals.

However, along with their luggage, they all bring their own stories, their own destinations, and their own problems. Different races of beings surely have different worries and different regrets.

Maybe, if you talk with them, they'll share a bit of that with you. And by learning about how their life has led them to ride on the Quiet Express, you may help change the course of their journey... and perhaps, that of your own.

A Neverending Week

The Quiet Express usually takes a week to reach its destination. Unfortunately, this is not how things to this time.

Right before the last station, the train suffers a terrible accident, going up in flames. Nobody can come to help, and all of the passengers and crew lose their lives.

However, somehow, you wake up. And you find yourself back where you started, waiting to board the train. Time has been rewound by seven days, and the train is once again ready to bound west.

Unfortunately, seven days later, the same thing happens. The train goes up in flames again. You need to find a way to prevent it in time.

And as you repeat this journey, you'll get closer and closer to the reason why this tragic journey keeps repeating itself.

A Mystery Numbered 909

You're looking for Cabin 909, a cabin that shouldn't exist on the Quiet Express.
According to the passengers and even the conductor, there is no cabin with that number.

Where is it, then? And what happened there? Why are you even looking for it?
And there are even more mysteries surrounding the train.
Why does time loop every seven days? Why can you choose where cabins are placed?

Step by step, you'll unfold all of these mysteries, reaching the final destination: the truth.
