About this game
Turn-based combat, varied environments, optional activities and interesting characters are just a few examples of what you can expect from the game, as well as mechanics that will make you replay Rosemary Village over and over again...
Combat
The dynamics of battles are largely defined by the balance between defense and attack, where it is necessary to go on the offensive to defeat the enemy, but it is also essential to know when to protect yourself. In Rosemary Village, one of the most important skills is "Guard", as it grants the user a round of blocking and 1 HP healing, which is very important to the player's success.
Map
Explore Rosemary Village, Slime Woods, Travelers' Camp, the Castle, Mines, and even an Igloo! More linear environments and stretches of more open scenery coexist in Rosemary Village, providing a good variety of locations and ways to explore each one.
Optional Activities
Not every save has to be identical! You can choose to help certain people, ignore their requests, or even pretend to help them, just to keep them waiting! (Yes, this is entirely possible).
Characters
Meet people with "eccentric" personalities throughout the game's world, where it might be interesting to hear about their stories. Dialogue options are available, allowing the player to respond or ask questions in different ways.
Secrets
Find a hidden place, a secret enemy, alternative cutscenes... obviously I'm not going to tell you how to do it, after all, it's a secret...

Update 1.2.1 Patch Notes
Update 1.2.1 Patch NotesCombat- Added Rose's Fatal Attack to Regular Difficulty.-> The skill is practically the same as the Beginner Difficulty, though it has slightly less agility in battle. -> Due to feedback, this change was made because Rose had very limited options in combat, which many players found to be less than ideal.Features- Ferdinand's ability to light the bonfire in Rosemary Village on the early game has been removed.-> This feature was created early on in the development of the demo and was intended merely as a "cool" detail; however, it doesn't make sense in the context of the game, since Ferdinand doesn't have fire skills.I'm really sorry for the long wait for this update; I’ve been busy with other personal projects and haven’t been able to focus entirely on supporting Rosemary Village. Once again, I apologize for this.Read full article on Community Announcements (GamesReviewsStudios)Patch NotesOfficial
Update 1.2.0 Patch Notes
Update 1.2.0 Patch NotesCombat- Now the initial TP has a fixed value of 10, instead of a random value between 0 and 25.-> The randomness of TP in all battles meant that certain battles required multiple game restarts, which was not intended to happen. -> Due to feedback, this change was made to significantly improve the game's combat system as a whole, rewarding players who make good use of the Technical Points feature.Tutorials- Now, before going to sleep, if you haven't accepted the quest from the Old Man in the Mines, Ferdinand (or Rose, if she's in the party) will say something about exploring the rest of the village.-> Due to feedback, some players felt that the mechanic of sleeping to find the Spiders was confusing, since resting without talking to the Old Man in the Mines spawned two Spiders immediately after accepting the quest in question.- Now the Old Man in the Mines will remind the player to rest after eliminating each spider, as well as warn them to take care of the last one before leaving the village.-> Due to feedback, the mechanics of spider spawning will be better explained, as it was previously confusing for many.- Now the message asking the player if they want to leave the Mines after completing the Spider quest will no longer appear after talking to the Old Man about the completed task, as this was not intentional.Read full article on Community Announcements (GamesReviewsStudios)Patch NotesOfficial
Update 1.1.4 Patch Notes
Update 1.1.4 Patch NotesFeatures- Added an Auto Save feature for boss fights on Beginner and Regular difficulty levels.-> Due to feedback, an auto save mechanic was introduced to the game in order to reduce long waiting times caused by boss fight cutscenes. Forgetting to save before a tough battle is no longer a problem either. -> The player has the option to enable or disable Auto Saves shortly after choosing the difficulty for a new game. This is not available in Experienced difficulty to provide the original difficulty intended for this mode, however it may be added in the future depending on player feedback.Bugs- Fixed an issue where Rose's Fatal Attack was available on all difficulty levels. This was not supposed to happen, however there are plans to add Rose's ability to Regular difficulty soon.-> This bug apparently only occurred in the English version of the game.Read full article on Community Announcements (GamesReviewsStudios)Patch NotesOfficial
Update 1.1.3 Patch Notes
Update 1.1.3 Patch NotesWolves Minigame- The difficulty of the Wolves Minigame on Regular difficulty has been reduced in order to offer slightly more casual and fair gameplay.-> Due to feedback, the speed of the faster wolf that appears to the right of the scarecrow has been reduced, giving the player more time to deal with it. -> It is important to note that the Expert difficulty will remain the same, allowing players who enjoy the challenge of the Minigame in its current state to still have the option to play it.Bugs- Fixed an issue where the Wolves Minigame would not work as intended on Beginner difficulty.-> The Minigame had the exact same "settings" as the other difficulties, which was not supposed to happen.Read full article on Community Announcements (GamesReviewsStudios)
