About this game
“Desserted”
1-6 player co-op survival horror game.

Explore procedurally generated maps in your mobile food truck. Gather, cook, and defend your power grid from monsters seeking to sabotage you. Survive deadly blackouts and complete sacrifices to progress to more difficult and exciting maps.
THE CORE LOOP
Scavenge → Collect → Sizzle → Blackout → Escape → Sacrifice → Repeat

Monsters — Not Just Killers, they troll.
Monsters aren't just hunters; they are saboteurs.
Power Phase: Monsters focus on sabotaging electrical infrastructure (breakers and cables) rather than direct player combat.
Blackout Phase: Once power hits zero, monsters enter a "Starvation" state and actively hunt players. Survival difficulty scales exponentially.
Power & "Sacrifice" System
Survival depends entirely on Time Management.
Fixed Time Limit: Each session has a set power duration. When it runs out, the map enters a high-difficulty "Blackout Mode."
Monster Sabotage: During the day, monsters prioritize locating and destroying circuit breakers. Damaged breakers significantly accelerate power drain.
Defense Priority: Players must patrol and protect breakers to delay the onset of night and maximize exploration time.
Blackout Phase: When the lights go out, the environment shifts. Monsters enter an active hunting state, but high-reward resources only become accessible during this time.

Food truck is the heart of the team.
The truck is your primary tool for survival and resource processing.
Ingredient Scanner: Use the short-range scanner to highlight hidden ingredients, significantly increasing gathering efficiency.
Cooking System: Process raw ingredients into dishes to fulfill mission objectives or gain vital survival buffs.

UP TO 6-PLAYER CO-OP
Coordinate with your team to survive:
Scavenge raw materials together.

Devlog #7 — You Never Really Know What Your Teammate Is Holding
In Desserted, the scariest thing has never been the monsters. It’s always your teammates, especially when they’re holding an item that “looks funny.”In this devlog, we wanted to give everyone a closer look at some of the item systems currently in the game —and more importantly, which items are safe to pick up…【Highly Questionable “Advanced Technology”】Magic WandThe Magic Wand automatically locks onto targets within your line of sight.Fire a magic beam, and enemies get transformed into random objects. On paper, this is an incredibly advanced tactical device. But in reality? You only got ONE chance.Good luck.Hand-Crank FlashlightTo help players survive sudden blackouts, we added a real flashlight. However, it’s an old-school hand-crank model. The problem is:While you’re frantically cranking it for power, the monsters can hear it too.【Friendship Destroyers】Screaming ChickenYes. We added a screaming rubber chicken.Squeeze it, and it makes that exact cursed noise everybody already knows. However, monsters can hear it too.So naturally, players have been using it to:lure monstersexpose teammatesruin stealth instantlypsychologically destroy the entire voice chatMystery PillsThis is currently the least trustworthy item in the game.Take one, and you might:instantly dieheal yourselflose healthgain a huge amount of Caliexthrow upget movement speed buffsor trigger something we genuinely cannot explain【Simple. Brutal. Effective.】ShovelIf you’re wondering: “Is there a normal weapon in the game?”Absolutely. It’s a shovel.Swing. Devlog #6 —— Trust Is Optional
Hey survivors 👋When we first started building Desserted, we thought we were making a co-op survival game. However, we discovered some even more fun things:Players started arguing.Players started making “questionable” decisions.Players started… feeding each other a little too enthusiastically. We also hope that players will gradually realize:This isn’t just a co-op game. It’s a game about what happens between players under pressure.Cooperation Is Not GuaranteedIn most co-op games, the goal is simple: work together, survive together. In Desserted, that’s… mostly true. But systems like God’s Command sometimes push players into situations where:Helping others might be the wrong choiceFollowing your objective might hurt your teamAnd doing “the right thing”… isn’t always clearSo the question becomes:Are you playing with your team — or against them?Feeding, Sacrificing, and BlamingSome mechanics are intentionally… uncomfortable. You might have to:Feed someone when they don’t want itTake more resources than you shouldOr decide who gets to survive when things go wrongAnd when everything falls apart, there’s always that moment:“Wait… who caused this?”Chaos Between PlayersMonsters create pressure. Systems create constraints. But the real chaos? We deliberately made this chaos originate from the players themselves, from hesitation, from panic. From one decision that changes everything. And sometimes… from a friend who says“Trust me.”So… Do You Trust Your Team? We’re not trying to force players to betray each other. We’re just building a space where:Cooperation is powerfulBut never guaranteedAnd always… a little fragileBecause in the end,Surviving together is easy. Trusting each other is the hard part. We’ll see you in the next loop.Read full article on Community Announcements (Prefabot Game)AnnouncementsOfficial
Devlog #5 — Welcome to Prefabot Hotel
In this development log, we want to introduce the first map players will encounter in Desserted: Prefabot Hotel. This is currently the most feature-rich map in the game, and it is also home to the two “residents” we want to introduce today. If you happen to meet them in the hotel… you might want to be prepared.Prefabot HotelPrefabot Hotel sits in an old commercial district on the Forbidden Planet.According to the few surviving records we could find, the hotel was likely built in the late 1960s. At the time, the area experienced a brief tourism boom, and Prefabot Hotel was considered one of the most luxurious hotels in the district. But once you step inside the building, you’ll quickly notice something strange. Most of the hotel feels as if time stopped decades ago. Long hallways stretch across the floors, covered with thick, patterned carpets. Wooden wall panels sit under dim lighting, giving the entire place an old and quiet atmosphere. At the same time, however, some rooms look surprisingly modern. You might find:office desksflat-screen TVsbrand new wallpaperfurniture from completely different design erasThese rooms are mixed with the older sections of the hotel, with no clear boundary between them.Prefabot Hotel has one particularly noticeable feature: power outages happen frequently. When the lights go out, the entire building becomes eerily quiet. The corridors disappear into darkness. Footsteps can sometimes be heard echoing somewhere in the distance, as if someone is moving through the hotel. And some of the hotel’s “residents” only appear when the power is gone.Monster — MotherShe slowly moves through the hotel corridors, as if searching for something—or perhaps trying to maintain some order within the building.Mother’s behaviour is actually very simple: if she sees a player, she will immediately attack. The moment a player enters her sight, she begins pursuing them. However, there is one unusual exception. If a player is possessed by Annabelle—another entity that inh...Read full article on Community Announcements (Prefabot Game)AnnouncementsOfficial
Dev Log #4 | When the Lights Go Out: The Power System Is Live
There’s a moment—when every light on the map suddenly shuts off— that you realize something important: you’ve been relying on light this whole time. With this update, we’ve turned light into a resource. The Power System is now in the game. Light Has to Be Earned 💡Lighting is no longer just background decoration.Overall visibility and certain core functions depend on a central device — the Lighting Power Reactor. When it’s running properly, all power-dependent light sources across the map activate. The hallways are clear, and all the rooms look “normal.”But when it shuts down, darkness takes over. You’ll have to rely on your character’s faint natural glow or whatever light source you’re carrying.Darkness is no longer just a visual atmosphere. It affects your decisions, your route planning, and your survival pressure.Power Doesn’t Fix Itself 🔧The Lighting Power Reactor always spawns in the Surveillance Control Center. It’s not decoration—it’s a true functional hub.If you want the lights back on, you’ll have to take action!Repair components spawn randomly across the map. You’ll need to find them, bring them back, and fix the system. And this isn’t a “repair it once and forget it” mechanic.Power can fail for multiple reasons:Core components may gradually break downCircuit breakers can failSwitches may randomly tripEnergy reserves can run outAnd of course—monsters won’t sit idle. They can sabotage the reactor, shut off switches, or even steal stored energy. When the Lights Go Out, the World Changes 🌑Under full power, rooms look normal.Clear structure. Clean layout. But when the lights are off, the environment shifts.Details that were hidden in the light begin to surface. The same map under different power states feels like two completely different spaces. This isn’t just a brightness adjustment. It’s a shift in atmosphere.A shift in tension.A shift in how safe you feel. What’s NextThis is the first full reveal of the Power System.Moving forward, we’ll continue to expand its interacti...Read full article on Community Announcements (Prefabot Game)AnnouncementsOfficial
Dev Log #3: Cooking Cart Arrives: Eating Is No Longer Safe
In Desserted, eating has always been one of the most basic—and most dangerous—things you can do.And let’s be honest, as both developers and longtime survival-game players, we know exactly what happens when a game lets you eat freely: players will shove anything into their mouths. So this time, we decided to make eating a little more complicated.Let me introduce a new core feature: the cooking cart system. It’s not here to make eating easier. It’s here to make you hesitate— Should I eat now? What should I eat? Is this even safe right now?Raw food is still there—but don’t rely on itYou can still eat raw food to gain Calix, but if you’re planning to survive an entire run on raw food alone… that probably won't end well.Eating raw food directly often comes with negative effects. If you want to unlock its real value, that usually doesn’t happen until it goes into the cooking cart. And those ingredients that look especially wrong? Let’s say they were never designed to be eaten straight. This world doesn’t go easy on you just because you’re hungry.Cooked food is a reliable source of CalixIf you’re looking for something stable, safe, and predictable, you’re looking for cooked food. And cooked food can only be made using the cooking cart.Drop in the raw ingredients. Close the lid. Light the fire. When the pot starts shaking violently, the cooking is done. Then—share the meal with your teammates.Cooked food provides a large amount of heat and grants gradual recovery over time. Some special ingredients can even give the dish additional effects.A kitchen that movesThe cooking cart isn’t a safe, stationary cooking station. It’s a mobile kitchen that can be pushed, rotated, and repositioned. The lower section is for storage—raw ingredients and fuel are neatly separated, limited in capacity, and become easier to manage through upgrades. Fuel isn’t infinite, and fire doesn’t stay lit just because you want it to.Up top is the cooking area: the pot, the stove—everything looks perfectly normal....Read full article on Community Announcements (Prefabot Game)
