In case you ever wondered where Letty was actually born: Pencil Stories was created in Ludwigsburg, specifically within the Kokolores Creative Collective - a truly amazing games and creative hub. Together with fantastic contributions from Berlin and Frankfurt, the game has become what it is today. A true collaborative effort!Your wonderful feedback over the last few weeks has been incredibly motivating. That’s why today we have two exciting pieces of news regarding the future of Pencil Stories that we just have to share with you:🌟 Work in Progress: The Free "Open Chapter" for PC (Release: Q4) Many of you have told us that you didn't want to leave Tsukinoma after finishing the story. Good news: Soon, you won't have to! We are currently working on a new "Open Chapter". Once you have completed the main story, you will be able to explore the sleeping village completely freely. Without a full mailbag, you can stroll through the night at Letty's pace, soak up the atmosphere, and discover a lot of new background lore about Tsukinoma and its residents. This free content update is planned for the fourth quarter of this year!📱 Letty is packing her bags: Mobile Beta Test in September But that's not all: Letty is getting ready for new shores! We are currently developing a mobile version for iOS and Android. 🌙 Major Update: Wind Chimes, Bouncy Mushrooms, and New Art!
Hello Wanderers!It’s time for a major content update for Pencil Stories! Over the last few weeks, Letty hasn’t just been delivering letters; she’s been taking a much closer look at the flora and fauna of Tsukinoma. We’ve been tinkering away under the hood and added many new details to make the world feel even more alive.Here is everything that’s new: New Interactive NatureBouncy Mushrooms: Something to watch out for... or just a way to have some fun? You decide!Shy Grass: Watch where you’re gliding - some patches of grass in Tsukinoma are a bit camera-shy and will react to your presence.Wind Chimes: You can now find handcrafted wind chimes throughout the village. Give them a little nudge and enjoy the soothing sounds of the night.Reach Your Destination FasterSignposts & Quick Travel: We’ve added signposts (though some are still under construction). These serve as a quick travel system! Use them to zip between locations in a flash. But be careful: Letty gets lost sometimes!Overhauled Reveal MechanicWe have completely rewritten the heart of the game - the reveal mechanic.
