Marshals of Yore is a different and simpler approach to classical RTS. It's easy to play, yet challenging.

70+ perks to choose from during battle to finesse your build. Even a common perk can be crucial for victory.

Customize your army by picking a marshal, equipping items, selecting a background and spell. There are so many variations to discover!

Upgrade your units for coming battles; the enemy gets stronger every stage. And let's not forget, you will need all the help for the endless mode!

Version 1.11 Patch Notes General Updates Visual Spell Feedback: Added dynamic spell icons. Whenever you or an enemy casts a spell, a brief indicator icon will now appear and fade above the affected units. HP Regeneration Feedback: Added a visual indicator icon above units whenever HP regeneration is in effect. Stage Recurrence Penalty: Decreased the repeat penalty multiplier from 2 to 1. The gold reward penalty for replaying previously cleared stages is now negligible. Perks I Am Still Standing!: HP bonus increased from 2,500 to 7,500. Version 1.10 "A proper marshal needs proper items!" Bug Fixes Stage 82 Reward: Fixed an issue where the passive reward for completing Stage 82 was only providing +1 to ranged damage. It now correctly grants +2 ranged damage. Marshal Arkul's Sniper: Skill bonus divider decreased from 25 to 20 (Even stronger now!). Gameplay Ranged Damage Vs. Light Armor: Multiplier decreased from 3x to 2x. Medium Armor: Multiplier decreased from 0.5x to 0.25x. Heavy Armor: Multiplier decreased from 0.2x to 0.1x. Items Mete's Aim No longer grants flat stat bonuses. New Passive: "When units with a ranged damage type shoot, their projectiles are no longer destroyed on impact with the enemy." (Projectiles now pierce through targets). Valor No longer grants flat stat bonuses. New Passive: "Every second, all of your melee units on the battlefield gain HP equal to 2 x armor value." Ymir's Endgame Giant Damage Bonus: Increased from +25 to +30. Giant AoE (Area of Effect): Increased from 200% to 250%. Barrows SotD Units: Speed bonus increased from +20 to +40. Version 1.09 "For the Fans"Hello everyone! This is a major milestone update focused heavily on performance. Because the game is now running faster and smoother under the hood, I’ve been able to massively break past the old army limits. Here is the full breakdown of what’s new in Patch 1.09: Performance & Technical Updates Engine Optimization: Overall game performance has been improved. Visual Fix: Removed the HP bar gradient, which resolves the visual flickering issue reported on lower resolutions. UI Convenience: The Options Menu can now be accessed directly from the main screen. Faction Cap Buffs The Order: Max army cap increased from 450 ➔ 700. Dwarven Kingdom: Max army cap increased from 450 ➔ 700. Sorority of the Dead: Max army cap increased from 550 ➔ 850. Necromancers: Unit cap increased from 1 ➔ 2. Gameplay & Balance Tweaks Animation Sync: Unit movement speeds and animation frame rates are now synchronized for cleaner, more responsive visuals. Combat Clarity: Damage tint colors are now distinctly separated for the left and right armies, making massive clashes easier to read. The Cataclysm Perk: Now triggers instantaneously and rains down 600 fireballs (up from 450). Rogue: Attack range increased from 125 ➔ 135.
