About this game

...this is Everything I Know, and Everything I'm Ever Gonna Know, a small modern visual novel about the hardships of young adulthood, failed relationships, and baseball(?!?) in the modern world.

Meet Icarus!

Icarus, our lasagna loving hero, finds himself on a chunk of land that has mysteriously floated away from earth, stranding he and a cast of varied individuals who must pause their lives for a brief period of romance and rumination.

Play ball..

How you perform in baseball determines the confidence level of your avatar, Icarus, allowing alternative exploration of the subject matter.

But don't worry! This novel will give you the leniency to improve:)

..with playing cards???

If baseball is causing you to struggle, you can update your deck of modifier cards, as these will allow affect various parameters in the mini game!

The Abominable Piggy.

There is a hideous, horrible pig in this novel.

Dynamic Mechanics!

While reading text will be your primary interaction, Everything I Know, and Everything I'm Ever Gonna Know is still mechanically dynamic. The mechanics you see on this page will be supplemented with additional surprises for those who look (and for those who don't as well, I suppose.)

Eclectic Characters!

Content Warning.

This is designed for a matured audience. That's not to say that I have not been intentional when covering heavy topics (religion, fornication, purpose, etc.), but this is not a novel for everyone at every stage of life. It is important to me that no one is inappropriately surprised when reading this novel... There is at least one "shock" moment, but the intent is not to sensationalize. At least, not more than is necessary for the story...

Hi.

Fixed crashes, optimizations and NATIVE LINUX

Hi everybody! I realized that there was a major leak problem as well as several other crashes that occurred, so I did a bit of an overhaul to things. The experience should now be much smoother. Shout out to R212 for giving me a solid bug report list! If anyone else finds things, it means a lot to me for you to let me know. I want this little visual novel to be the best it can be, and also gets my systems all prepared for the release of Oh man, a Train. The best ways to keep me informed is to post in the community discussions or send me an email to support@tableauxtheory.com. ADDITIONALLY, we have a NATIVE LINUX BUILD. I set systems up to do this for Oh man, a Train., and realized that it works just as well here. This seems like it will create the smoothest experience. Finally, in creating the linux build, I found a major optimization for asset loading. Load times between screens should be faster now. This is more noticeable on lower end hardware. Thanks all, I appreciate all the feedback that you're giving :) -Daniel
