  Devlog #6 - Upgrades & Rogue-lite Progression

  Hey Lawn Warriors! 🌱 Welcome back! In our previous devlog, we showed some of the progress we've made on Cut The Grass. Today, we'd like to take a closer look at one of the biggest additions to the game: the Upgrade System. This system is designed to make every run feel rewarding. Even if things don't go exactly as planned, you'll always come back a little stronger. Permanent Upgrades {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45709820/748ee45de5411cfb110856d6cfea7576ba05788f.png The Upgrades menu, available from the main menu, lets you spend upgrade points earned during your adventures on permanent improvements. These upgrades stay with you between runs, adding a rogue-lite layer of progression to the game. You can unlock and improve many different aspects of your gameplay, including: ⚔️ Stronger weapons and increased weapon damage. 💰 Lower purchase prices for weapons, making your favorite katana easier to obtain in future runs. 🌾 Better scythe upgrades, allowing you to cut grass faster and more efficiently. 🏠 Building improvements such as increased durability, reduced construction costs, and lower resource requirements. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45709820/e7139f61edcded433ba916b4ae7d3f7f627071af.png Choosing where to spend your points is an important part of the strategy. Do you invest in combat? Focus on your farm? Or prepare for faster expansion? Every decision helps shape your next adventure. Completing them rewards you with Upgrade Points, which can be spent on permanent upgrades back in the main menu. Quests range from simple objectives to more challenging tasks, encouraging different playstyles every run.
