About this game
SHIATH (Something horrible is about to happen) is a short (less than an hour long) horror game about the end of humankind and self-made doom.
Features
Clay pigeon shooting. To survive, you'll need to take as much as you can from the sea below. Remember that not everything that surfaces is what it seems to be.
The brink. A surreal vision of a dying world. Enjoy your stay on the last patch of land that exist. It won't be long before it's gone.
The dog. Your only companion in this journey. Hopefully, you'll take good care of him.
A cast of miserable and spiteful characters. Meet others like you, and others who’ve been made the way they are because of people like you.
No happy ending. This story does not have a happy ending. Try all you want. Something horrible is about to happen.

About the future
Ahoy folks!Sorry for disappearing for a couple of weeks (which is an eternity on the internet, I know), but I had a few personal matters to take care of. I won’t go into details, of course, but I do want to keep transparent communication with all of you, whether you’re strangers or friends reading these lines. This year, now coming to an end, has been very intense for me, a real rollercoaster of emotions, both positive and negative, but I believe that’s something many of us can relate to. I’m finally finding a sense of calm again, which is always a good thing when you’re developing games, especially as a solo dev. The world is a very strange place right now, and it’s no coincidence that it led to the creation of SHIATH, a game about the consequences of our actions, meant to make players reflect on the responsibility each of us carries toward ourselves and others. I hope that, in its small way, it has given you something to think about, as well as a brief, surreal experience!I’m extremely happy to announce that SHIATH has surpassed 500 copies sold, a milestone I never thought possible, and one that only fuels my passion even more. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for this incredible achievement!So, what’s next? Naturally, more games, otherwise I wouldn’t be here rambling! My next project, Side Hustle, has been in development for about a month and is coming along really well. 100 Times thank you!
So I don't really know how to write this but, fundamentally, thank you. SHIATH has been out for a couple of days now, and it sold over 100 copies, which I know may not sound like much, but to me, is really everything, definitely surpassing my expectations. With this message, I just want to thank everyone who played SHIATH, shared it with their friends, streamed it even! A special thanks goes to all my friends who "volunteered" to playtest it (love you guys, really), to Studio Carota for helping me out during the development (You know what a wild rise has been), to all those who left such positives and heart warming reviews of the game and to all those that, in someway or the other, had their part in this journey, you know who you are and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. This has been quite a rough year, but seeing now that people enjoy my game and what I have to say makes all the effort worth it, and it is my intention to follow up with more and more games, since it is quite clear to me now that this is my call.
