About this game

🎮 Game Overview

Expeditions is an auto-battler game where heroes explore a [Continent Field] made of hexagonal tiles and branch into various [Exploration Zones].
They gather resources, rebuild destroyed village structures, and upgrade buildings to equip stronger heroes with better gear and skillbooks.
As enemies grow tougher and more complex, players must strengthen their expedition teams to acquire increasingly rare items.

📖 Story

Not long ago, the world was devastated by “the Event”—when abyssal creatures burst forth from the ground and destroyed every human settlement.
You barely survived, living as a refugee in a shattered world.
One day, a letter arrives: “Return to the village.”
Now, as the [Guide], you lead other survivors back to your ruined homeland.
Your mission: rebuild the village, restore stability to the region, and prepare to face the abyss once more—while helping the other races who sacrificed themselves to stop the catastrophe.

🛡️ Heroes

Heroes will arrive at your village, and their traits and potential will be easy to assess.
At first, only humans will join, but as you complete quests for other races, they too will become powerful allies in your Expeditions.
As heroes level up, their stats grow stronger—but if you provide the right environment that matches their class traits, they can unleash power far beyond their base stats.

⚔️ Gear, Skillbooks, and Runes

Expeditions offer over 150 Gear items, and around 100 of these contain unique skills. Each Gear’s skill is intuitively designed to suit specific classes, making it easy to identify which hero should equip which item.

Tank-type heroes use skills that apply a [Taunt] effect, damage dealers hit a wide range of enemies, and support-type heroes grant buffs and shields to allies—these roles are essential to the survival of your Expedition.

There are about 30 Skillbook items in Expeditions, and over 60 Runes with unique effects. A Skillbook without a Rune simply deals damage or heals the target, but when a discovered Rune is slotted into a Skillbook, its effect is embedded in the skill.

Provide your Expedition with Gear, Skillbooks, and Skill Runes suited to its strategy. Prepare class specialties and positioning based on the enemy, and get ready to face even stronger foes.

    0.6.0 Update

Dispatch System Added and the Dispatch Building have been added to the town.Up to 4 heroes left in the town can be organized into 1 dispatch team (up to 3 teams total). Dispatch teams move along preset routes, interacting with nearby resources, exploration areas, and enemies to acquire items.Heroes have a “Combat Power” value that varies based on their stats, gear, and skill books. Dispatch teams with higher Combat Power can undertake higher-difficulty dispatches and obtain better resources. If a field boss is located on the dispatch route, the dispatch team will be attacked, defeated, and the dispatch will end.Resources obtained from dispatches have a lower chance compared to those acquired directly through exploration. However, unlocking and crafting to provide to dispatch teams can increase this chance and significantly reduce the likelihood of being defeated by a field boss.Other ChangesThe maximum hero capacity upgrade has been expanded to 30.The stack limit for stackable items, excluding consumables, has been increased to 100.Resistance is now applied to shields, allowing them to withstand more attacks.Resistance coefficients have been adjusted to allow endurance against more attacks.Information about members included in a dispatch is now automatically saved. The equipment structure for unique traits (purple) has been improved. An issue where decayed hero corpses did not apply negative effects has been reverted.A notification is now displayed on the quest button when there are quests available to accept or complete.A feature has been added to scroll the screen with right-click in exploration fields. An issue where non-Asian languages overflowed the UI area has been fixed. Some terminology has been adjusted for consistency. An issue requiring certain unused items has been fixed.

    0.4.1 Hotfix

Abilities stats have been integrated into a single stat. stat has been removed. The existing stat on Gear has been replaced with a random stat among , , , and that was not already present on the Gear. stat on Gear has been changed to stat. The previously granted stat on Gear has been changed to stat.Only the stat granted to the Gear has been changed, not the removal of the stat itself. The stat was integrated because it causes great frustration when conflicting stats, such as Magic Power with Physical Penetration, or Attack Power with Magic Penetration, are granted to Gear. The stat was removed because players had no reason to increase it since there is currently no way to check what skills an opposing enemy uses (whether they have Crowd Control effects or not), even if the enemy's elemental properties can be inferred. Furthermore, when a unit is affected by a Crowd Control effect, they are granted 'Immunity' status, making the effectiveness of the stat negligible compared to other stats. The stat granted to Gear has been integrated to allow players who are familiar with the game to replace and use Gear items in more versatile situations (when dealing with enemies using elemental attacks), as the information on whether an enemy uses 'Elemental Attribute Attacks' is known.Bug Fixes / Miscellaneous ChangesThe required Lore for upgrading the Race Skill (Amulet of Guardian) has been increased.Effects have been added to most Crowd Control / Normal Status Effects, and status effect images have been added to the Combat status icons. The font of the Floater (floating combat text) in Combat has been replaced with a font that has better readability, and the UI composing the combat unit has been simplified with the addition of status effect Effects.Potential Breakthrough has been removed upon Hero Promotion. This was removed due to an issue where characters would quickly become solidified/stale because they were set to a higher rank of potential with a high probability upon Promotion...
