  One year ago, Just Date Goth existed only as a few sketches… Today, thanks to your support, we've reached 10,000 wishlists, and the demo is finally coming this fall! Here's what you'll be able to experience:3 romance routes, each with its own scenes8+ locations2 Mini-gamesQuestsLet's take a closer look at what you'll see in the demo and what we've been working on:Love interestsWe hope you’ve already picked your favorite girl: Eva, classic goth, Lilith, the dangerous, or Maria, the MILF next door.Over the past few months, we’ve been refining our girls: improving the model quality, polishing the textures, and creating their rigs. Building 3D models from scratch is challenging, but the results exceeded our expectations. You can see it clearly by comparing Eva’s model from a year ago with how she looks now:Places to exploreJust Date Goth takes place in a small town that our protagonist returns to. For the demo, we’ve created a range of locations to explore, from the train where the story begins and the protagonist’s apartment to a local bar and the girls' homes.Over the past two months, we’ve added the office and cemetery, two of the final major locations planned for the demo. After all, no gothic game would be complete without a cemetery, and this one will play an important role in the story.Mini-games and gameplay featuresWe don’t want to spoil the mini-games before you get to play them, but the demo will have them! Over the past month, we’ve polished one of them and built another from scratch. We’ve also added:A day-and-night cycleA working notice board that gives the protagonist questsStory fixes and additions, including new quests for Maria and EvaAn updated UI with improved dialogue boxes…and much more.We still have a few things left to work on, including voice acting, technical and visual fixes, scenes with the girls, and further UI improvements. That said, we’re incredibly proud of how much we’ve managed to complete in just one year!   Big progress update: new goth girls, locations and mini-games.

  Hey! We usually share our updates on social media, but we decided to let you know about our progress here as well. Since we’re a small team, things sometimes take a bit longer, but every step forward is something we’re genuinely proud of.So here’s a quick recap of what’s already done, what’s currently in progress, and what you can expect to see in the first demo, which is coming soon :)Characters. Eva, Lilith, and…?A fact we mention whenever we can: all of our characters are created completely from scratch, no AI.You’ve already met Eva on our Steam page, and during the first few months we focused heavily on refining her look and personality. What we love about her is that she doesn’t feel like just a “pretty girl asset”. And we truly hope you’ll feel and appreciate that when you experience the game yourself.Lilith is the second romanceable character in the game. Working on her definitely took more than just a day as well. Her influence on the story would be a spoiler, so for now we are simply admiring her dangerous beauty, which also took a lot of effort
