Gather resources and fend off deadly creatures as you and three friends repair your vehicle in Camp Wombo. A challenging yet casual experience from the indie studio behind this co-op survival horror game.

About this game

Stranded. Hunted. Not Alone.

Four friends head into the woods for a fun camping trip

But after their vehicle is stripped for parts overnight, they're left with nothing but fear and a flickering flashlight.

The forest isn’t empty.

Each night brings new horrors twisted traps, shifting shadows, and creatures that hunt without warning.

Nothing is what it seems.

A mailbox in the middle of the woods? A couch nailed to a tree? The forest is full of strange sights and stranger threats.

Some things defy explanation.

Surreal encounters will test your sanity. Some will make you laugh. Others... you’ll wish you never saw.

Even rewards can be a trap.

That treasure chest? It might bite back. Every decision carries risk. Greed could be your undoing.

Survival is Never Simple

Scavenge for food, search for water, and locate missing vehicle parts.

Manage your hunger, thirst, and mental state.

Work together or fall apart.

1–4 Player Online Co-op

Dynamic map that changes every playthrough

Random events, shifting weather, and unscripted chaos

No two games are ever the same

Escape… or Endure.

Will you find the parts and escape?

Or will you simply try to last one more night?

    [Devlog #5] The Rabbit Stalker🐰

Some things in the forest don’t belong… and this is definitely one of them.Meet a hammer-wielding torturer, a relentless and obsessive serial killer… in the form of a rabbit. Yes, you read that right. For this creature, hunting isn’t just a necessity, it’s a source of enjoyment. It loves chasing players and it’s incredibly fast while doing it. After all, it is a rabbit, and speed is in its nature. The moment you start running, the distance between you and it disappears faster than you expect. But speed is not the only thing that makes it dangerous. Escaping it is far more difficult than it seems.Trying to sneak around it or slip past from behind will often fail. This creature thrives on unpredictability. At any moment, it can suddenly teleport right in front of you somewhere deep in the forest. Just when you think you’ve escaped, you might find yourself face to face with it again. This makes every encounter far more intense and unpredictable. So stay alert. Choose your path carefully, control your movements, and always be ready for the worst. Because in this hunt, everything can turn against you in an instant. 👀

[Devlog #4] Meet the Demon Dog 🐕

There’s no such thing as peace in the forest… because the Demon Dog is always on the move. This mangy creature roams the woods non-stop, never staying in one place for long. Its odd behavior and constant scratching might make it look a bit ridiculous but don’t be fooled. Its most dangerous trait: an incredible sense of smell. It doesn’t need to see you it can follow your scent. Stay in one area for too long or get careless, and it might start tracking you. Once it gets close, things can go bad very quickly. Keep your distance, stay alert… and if possible, avoid it altogether. 👀

[Devlog #3] Beware of the Forest Spider 🕷️

Hello everyone 👋Today we want to introduce one of the creatures lurking deep inside the forests of Camp Wombo.Meet the Forest Spider 🕷️ Unlike some of the other enemies in the game, the spider doesn’t always notice players immediately. If you're careful, you might be able to sneak past it without being seen. But don’t get too comfortable…The Forest Spider has a dangerous ability: poison gas. If the spider manages to hit you with its poisonous gas attack, you’ll receive a deadly slow debuff that dramatically reduces your movement speed. In the dense forest of Camp Wombo, being slowed down can quickly turn into a very dangerous situation. Running away becomes harder. Dodging traps becomes harder. And escaping other creatures becomes nearly impossible.Sometimes the best strategy is simply not to get noticed at all. We’re continuing to expand the forest with new enemies, mechanics, and surprises. The deeper you go, the stranger things become. If you're interested in survival, exploration, and mysterious forests, don’t forget to wishlist Camp Wombo on Steam 🌲Stay tuned for more devlogs!

[Devlog #2] The Forest Is Never the Same 🌲

Hello everyone! In this devlog, I want to share one of the most important systems I’ve been working on recently in Camp Wombo: procedural map generation. From now on, every run in Camp Wombo is truly unique.🌍 Endless PossibilitiesThanks to the procedural generation system, maps are created differently every time. You might think you’re returning to a familiar place… but you never really are.🌲 A Constantly Changing, Massive ForestThe forest layout, paths, clearings, and dense areas are reshaped on every run. This makes exploration more tense, unpredictable, and frightening.👻 Randomized Environment, Props, and EnemiesProps are placed randomly across the environmentEnemies spawn in different locations every runAn area that felt safe before might be deadly next timeThe goal of this system is to prevent memorization and make every co-op session feel fresh and unpredictable.Development is ongoing, and in the next devlog, I’ll dive deeper into how this system impacts the horror and co-op gameplay.I’d love to hear your thoughts 👀 See you in the next devlog!

[Devlog #1] Meet the Mushroom Man 🍄

Hey everyone! This is our very first devlog for Camp Wombo, and we wanted to start by introducing one of the new dangers hiding in the forest. What is Camp Wombo?Camp Wombo is a co-op horror game where you and your friends go camping deep in the woods… until your car breaks down. To escape, you’ll need to search the forest for parts while dealing with whatever is already living there. And not everything in the forest is aggressive. Some things are just… misunderstood.🍄 Meet the Mushroom ManAt first glance, the Mushroom Man looks harmless. A small, yellow mushroom creature. Slow. Quiet. Sad. It wanders around the forest minding its own business, almost like it doesn’t belong there. But getting close is a mistake. When threatened, the Mushroom Man reveals its true nature, launching vine-like tendrils to attack anyone who comes too near. What looks innocent can turn dangerous in seconds. Why we added himWe wanted an enemy that:Doesn’t attack immediatelyPunishes curiosity and greedMakes players second-guess “cute” things in horror gamesThe Mushroom Man is designed to create tension through uncertainty. Do you risk getting closer… or leave him alone? This is just one of many forest threats coming to Camp Wombo. We’d love to hear your thoughts:👉 Would you approach the Mushroom Man… or keep your distance?More devlogs coming soon!
