About this game
Everlast: Undying Tale is a modern take on classic RPG adventures, set in a handcrafted open world. Play solo or with friends as you engage in quests and progress through the epic fantasy-themed story. Mine and harvest resources, craft items, repair the battle torn landscape, and face off against the forces of the undead in the ultimate showdown for the fate of the world! ...or just hang out and fish, it's up to you!
Explore a beautiful high-fantasy open world filled with adventure. Our lovingly handcrafted environment features vast rolling hills and plains, deep mysterious caves, unique biomes, and sweeping vistas. Engage in quests, uncover the world’s mysteries, and discover the animals, creatures, and adventurers who call the world of Everlast: Undying Tale home.
Answer the call of your ancestors and step into an RPG adventure worthy of the heroes of old. Master the sword, bow, or staff as you shape your character into the hero they were meant to become. Find loot, craft items, level up skills, and learn spells. Take part in an epic story that sees you befriend Death, repair the broken lands, stem the surge of the undead, and save the people of South Umbardom.
Become a knight, ranger, or wizard, but on your terms. Want to be a wizard who also wields a greatsword? In Everlast: Undying Tale, you can. Level different skills as you interact with the world. Mine and harvest resources, relax while fishing, cook food, or brew potions of all types. What you choose to focus on is up to you, and each decision helps to shape who your character will become.
Originally designed as an MMO, we listened intently to player feedback and corrected course to a Co-op PvE Adventure. Play completely solo or with friends! Take your character into other servers without losing any gear or character progression.
Everlast: Undying Tale is built from the ground up by a small, passionate team of engineers, artists, and musicians. This is the first game from our studio, and we have poured our hearts into bringing it from a distant dream to a vibrant reality. We hope that love and care shines through in every moment, both big and small.

Our Playtest Demo Has Ended!
Hello all! Our playtest demo officially ended this week! From here we are moving the demo off of the playtest channel and over to the official demo channels in preparation for Next Fest. During this time we'll also be updating the demo with some of our most recent additions and changes. We'll be posting more news shortly with the details about the upcoming updated demo, and from there it's only a very short ways until we're releasing the game into Early Access. Updated 75 min Playtest Demo Available!
We've Updated Our Free 75 Minute Demo!We've Updated Our Latest Demo on Steam! Players now get 75 minutes. Additionally, the timer no longer counts down during dialogue or cutscenes so there's no need to rush through those moments. This to progress through the story and quest lines as they were intended to be enjoyed, without feeling rushed. This update also includes some additional general fixes and improvements. This demo is available for free from now until the end of our Kickstarter campaign, at the end of August. Our Kickstarter Demo is now Live and Available to All!

This demo limits players to one hour and should give a people a good sense of what the game is like ahead of our launch in Q4 of 2026. To help open things up, here's some words from our lead game designer, Alex. "The big day is finally here! After months of work, the team is excited to reveal our Kickstarter for the game, along with a free demo that we'll be running for the next month on Steam during the Kickstarter's runtime. Please give it a try, share your feedback, and if you'd like to support us, consider donating to the Kickstarter as well!
