About this game
Inspired by Return of the Obra Dinn and The Golden Idol Series.
Mr Investigator is a time-traveling detective puzzler that will have you string together through grit and clever deductions, the cumulating series of events leading into an unresolved murder.
"Your next case Mr Investigator. That's what she called you.
It's business as usual at The Time Bureau. Another misfortune filed on our doorstep. Difference this time was how particular she felt about handing us the work. It's to do with her father, mind you. She even left a note behind.
If you want my advice, do what you've always done."

Hey everyone, Thanks for all the feedbacks and review since launch! I just wanted to make an milestone update. It's been a month since release and I thought it was best to keep an open mind at the time as the steam statistics don't paint a great picture for 1. Solo developed 2. Puzzle Indie games 3. First titles I am quite grateful how it's all turned out so far, and definitely exceeded expectations. I always thought it would be worth getting the AI assets replaced eventually, just as we are 2 reviews away from getting a label. Previous AI assets are now replaced with hand drawn art or outsourced images. Interesting tangent - I wanted to become a concept artist in games, so I am aware of the implications to AI. The most important thing for me during production was whether - players know what it suppose to be, and if it enriches the experience. All efforts were spent programming, designing, and building the backbones of which I am glad players get to enjoy. Please leave an honest review to help Mr Investigator reach full steam visibility!
