  Patch 1.2.5 Live Now

  Work is well underway for patch 1.3 but about a week after 1.2 went live, we began to receive increased bug reports and especially negative reviews on our Steam page. We’ve been going through everything and working with the community to identify the biggest issues and have pushed a new bug fix patch live today.It’s addressed a number of the recent issues across soft locks, inventory problems and save files.   Huntsman Patch 1.2 & 30% Off Sale!

  Having moved from minor fixes to larger QoL changes with Patch 1.1 in April, we’re now revealing our favourite change yet with 1.2 - spider movement. With help from a specialist (thank you, Lincoln Margison!) we’ve overhauled how the spiders move, turn and tackle things like corners, objects and ceilings. Overall, this has added to the immersion and horror by removing instances of legs and abdomens disappearing through walls/floors/ceilings, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. To celebrate Patch 1.2, the game is on sale from 18th June - 9th July at 30% of (through the Summer Sale).Quality of LifeInverse Kinematics rework - an overhaul of the old animation based spider movement. Spiders now move organically through locations with their legs properly connecting to floors, walls, ceilings and other objects, for added realism/terrorFull controller integrationMore spiders - we added more spiders to certain locations….but we’re not telling whereNew event - return to security roomNew event - cryo labGeForce Now compatibleSearching webbed victims - added a new mechanic for players interacting with corpses in the search for collectibles.   Huntsman Patch 1.1

  Welcome to our first Quality of Life (QoL) Huntsman patch! Up to now, we’ve been working hard on addressing the community feedback from launch. As we squashed the biggest issues, we’ve been able to sit down and think about how to improve the game beyond bug fixes, things to give back to the community who stuck by us, as well as our longer term goals for Huntsman.Patch 1.1 adds lots of things throughout the game, including new visual modes, updated spider behaviours and more. We are hard at work on two more large patches, but no spoilers (we’ve left a small hint in-game for 1.2, but we’ll leave it at that).
