About the Game

Fight through a wasteland filled with rogue AI tanks that seek your destruction. Use clever strategies to destroy them before they destroy you, then lay claim to their parts to build the ultimate vehicle of destruction.
Featuring an in depth damage and projectile system, you will be rewarded for precise shooting and learning your opponents weak spots.
Trawl the wasteland for the scrap of the old world, and fight through hazardous environments to find the tools you need to survive and give yourself an edge in every battle.

Mix and match increasingly powerful gear scavenged from the wasteland to build a Franken-tank of looted parts. Separately upgrade your CPU by cannibalising the mind of your opponents to gain the ultimate edge in the final survival of the fittest.

The wasteland is a procedurally generated world of devastated environments. Each new biome provides a unique challenge for your vehicle. Master each to maintain the strategic advantage at all times.

Fight difficult bosses that challenge your build and tactics to become the dominant AI tank in the wasteland.

Hotfix 0.3.1 + Dev Blog
Hey all,We have seen some issues with updated 0.3 that we wanted to fix. Thank you all once again for reporting these issues and leaving feedback. The changes in this hotfix are:Fixed issue with tanks spawning inside terrain in the desert biomeInterrupting a fight between 2 or more AI will not longer cause all AI to target the playerChanged the names for T4 and T6 tank partsAdded a new sound effect to the radar ping to differentiate tanks from other markers/buildingsAs you know, update 0.3 was recently released which included a big upgrade to the terrain generation and spawning system. Because of those changes and because we've had some comments about tank spawning, we decided to put out a dev blog for any that are interested in the more technical parts of the game. That will be it for now, but look forward to the new big patch that we will be working on going forward: Warfare!- Landship GamesRead full article on Community Announcements (Landship Games)Patch NotesOfficial
Update 0.3
Hey all, The Wasteland update is finally here. Some of the changes we had planned were released earlier as a smaller patch in 0.2.5 which focused mostly on gameplay and balance. This second half of the Wasteland update features a major upgrade to the environment with an entirely new terrain system, new destructible props and objects, new compounds and more. Change list: -- Environment-- • New GPU based terrain system for faster terrain generation. • New biome: Desert• Improved visuals for all biomes, with new terrain, props and effects. • A rework of compounds to provide more of a challenge with a greater reward. • More compound variants. • New weather and lighting for each biome. • Hazardous storms that roll in every 10 minutes and affect heat generation. • Greatly expanded destruction system. Trees, buildings and many other objects are now destroyable. Shells can destroy or ricochet off objects in the environment. -- Gameplay -- • Improvements to AI navigation, particularly getting stuck & bumping into obstacles. • The Panzer IV replaces the M4A1 at Tier 4 • The M103 replaces the T55 at Tier 6. • Borderless windowed mode. • Graphics options for terrain. We hope you enjoy the changes to the wasteland and will share more details soon about our plans for the Warfare update.- Landship GamesRead full article on Community Announcements (Landship Games)Patch NotesOfficial

Update 0.2.5
As we continue work on the Wasteland update, we have come to somewhat of a halfway point and decided we wanted to make a minor update in the meantime. There has been a lot of feedback about how damage works, especially about turrets feeling counterintuitive as a weak point, and we agree, which is why we have given them some more damage resistance across the board. This should change how the combat feels quite a lot, and we're hoping it will allow for much more strategy and skill expression. There have been a number of other changes too, which can be found below: Adjust swivel speeds and turn speeds Reduced swivel speed on heavier turrets at higher tiers Lowered turn speed on high tier hulls and tracks Rebalanced damage and armour values across the board Turret part takes less damage Gun part takes less damage Track parts take more damageSet minimum reload speed to be the same as minimum fire rate for all guns Rebalanced minor CPU's to have a wider stat spread Increased machinegun heat generation slightly Changed distances between tier zones Updated all of the objectives to be more specific Added ironman mode (Unlocked by killing Plasma)There has also been a rework to the end game system. While we still plan on redesigning the endgame in the titular "Endgame" milestone update, we weren't happy with the current placeholder endgame system, so it has now been fleshed out a bit. It is still temporary but it should feel a little more structured now. You will have the option to trigger the endgame or not after defeating the final boss, as well as an objective to finish the trial with.Endgame changes include: Increased hunter spawn distance Added a new endgame extract objective Capped scrap multiplier from hunters to 2x Added a 0.5x scrap multiplier for successfully ascending Added an end game panel when defeating plasma That's it for the changes going in today. We won't talk too much here about what's coming with the second half of the Wasteland update, but I will say that...Read full article on Community Announcements (Landship Games)Patch NotesOfficial
