Watch trailer on Steam ↗Fly High Runners
Lavibus Games · Published by Lavibus Games · Official site ↗
Content notice: Fly High Runners is a colorful party platformer with retro cyberpunk vibes and non-realistic, non-graphic gameplay. Players compete to deliver "cyberpunk contraband" items (chip implants, mushrooms, and weed). These items function strictly as inventory tokens used for scoring; there is no visual depiction of consumption. Player interactions involve mild cartoon-style combat using EMP bursts that temporarily knock opponents away or cause effects such as reversed controls, invisibility or dropping held items. The core experience centers on outsmarting and sabotaging your frenemies on aerial delivery routes. There is no depiction of injury, blood or death, and the tone remains light-hearted and comedic throughout.

Navigate through a neon-lit cityscape as one of six jetpack couriers, balancing fuel and dodging cops while racing to deliver contraband.
About this game
Welcome to the Fly High Club, Vibe City’s mostly legal jetpack courier service!
Manage your contraband inventory, be the first to snatch up orders and keep your fuel in check. The courier with the biggest profit at the end of the 8:40 round earns bragging rights as Runner of the Night!
KEY FEATURES
The Flight System
Pilot a janky, fuel-powered jetpack by tapping at the right moment and make inertia your friend, not your enemy! Run out of gas and you’ll drop like a sack of bricks, but overfill it and you’ll fly like one.
The G-Boots Feint
Tap your G-Boots to dive faster. Perfect for dodging drones, stealing deliveries, or holding on for dear life when your buddy tries to nudge you off a platform.
Smuggle High-Profit Contraband
Manage your stash of classic fan-favorite weed, reliable mid-tier shrooms, and high-value exotic microchips. Stay on the look out for reseller offers with juicy discounts. Whatever you do, don't let the night end with left over product!
Cutthroat Jetpack Combat
Wipe out your rivals with a perfectly timed EMP blast! Disable their jetpacks midair and watch them plummet while you spam the "MINE MINE MINE" emote. EMP hits also have a chance to dislodge one of their products, so add insult to injury by swooping in and stealing it!
Dodge the Cops
Police drones are always paroling the skies. Fly too close and you’ll be scanned. Get caught with more than the legal limit and you’re getting stripped of your extra goods (and your dreams of getting Runner of the Night).
Power-Up your deliveries
Hunt down Power-Up Drones through the skyscrapers to receive temporary boosts such as invisibility, EMP immunity and discounts, or nasty debuffs to unleash on others. Tag a rival with an EMP to pass along the pain of inverted controls, no GPS or a fuel leak.
Last Minute Pawn Shop
End game event: get rid of your unsold inventory, as long as you respect the queue (nobody does!).
Solo Queue, Private Solo Lobby, Private Team Lobby
Jump straight into the mayhem via quick play (disabled in demo) or set up a password-protected private lobby for your crew.
Or try our new team 2v2 or 3v3 game modes!
The little things
The Lobby - No need to jump into the chaos with a cold engine. Gather your friends, learn the ropes of flying and delivering quests in The Lobby (Sponsored by Yuri's Chop Shop)
Social Feed - Check your social feed for in-game posts that keep the world feeling alive. Laugh, cry and learn about conspiracies from the colorful people of Vibe City.
Spam Emotes - Rub it in! Use a variety of emotes to grief your friends after a successful delivery steal.
Catch a Vibe - The city lights pulse with the synthwave beats of the radio (literally!). Flip through the custom in-game playlist to find your favorite tunes.
Customize your runner - Customize your character's outfit to look good while breaking the law.
Ready to take flight and win Runner of the Night super exclusive title?

Soft Launch, Steam Cyberpunk Fest & Some History
Hello, Runners, We are soft launching our game! It all started as a Mars Taxi 1997 spiritual successor game concept (HELLO TAXI, TAXI!). I was looking for those annoying, Flappy Bird-style 2D controls while battling my friends and getting a couple of laughs. With no game dev experience, it was more like a personal playground.Soon enough "I" turned into "we". RustyStorm joined the chat on art and MrPhilipJoel with Unity seniority and the team was complete! We had so much fun on this amazing journey, discovering how to reach our vision and where our limits were. There was so much we didn't know; there were playtests, demos, music, graphics, pitching and everything up to twitch integration and even mobile cross platform iOS/Android (work in progress). We have a lot of more ideas for both vertical and horizontal content we'd like to add, but with no publisher, marketing and just a couple hundreds wishlists our expectations are right where they should be. We wanted to get the game in front of you and see if you like it.Cyberpunk Fest We're participating in it this week; let's hope for some good games and discounts that everyone will enjoy. And remember, you're breathtaking! Many thanks towards the indie community for taking time to write tutorials for shaders, animations, networking and everything else. This project was started before the vibecoding era began so we learned a lot from the kind creators who shared their experience with us. And also thank you to all our friends and playtesters who helped us along the way with finding bugs and offering critical feedback and ideas - many of them are in the game now as quest owners. On behalf of our team (Jamayk, RustyStorm & MrPhilipJoel), thank for your attention and see ya next time!Read full article on Community Announcements (Lavibus Games)AnnouncementsOfficial
Twitch Chat Integration & 0.6.6.1
Hello runners!Hope you’re all having an awesome springtime! Twitch Chat IntegrationIf you're a streamer, you can now enable Twitch integration directly from the main menu.Once enabled:You’ll be redirected to Twitch to authenticate. You must be the one starting the game room. When the match begins, reward actions will appear on your channel, and your viewers can start redeeming them instantly. Twitch Chat can influence the game in multiple ways:Emotes - Viewer emotes + usernames appear in-gameQuests - Temporary buffs/debuffsPolice - Temporary buffs/debuffsOrderUp - Viewers request the next orderAppearance - Hats get scrambledRadio - Chat takes over the radioTransaction Time - Doubles waiting time on quest platforms temporarilyPowerUps - Temporary boostsYou can also customize the cost of each category when enabling Twitch Chat. Important Notes:Twitch actions disappear on their own when the game ends. They won’t reappear unless you start a new match. If you ALT + F4 mid-game and actions remain active on your twitch channel, go back to main menu and disable Twitch to clear them out. Some actions affect only the streamer (like appearance or radio), while others impact the entire city/game (like police behavior). This is why the streamer must be the one who starts the room. In the future, we may introduce these events as random gameplay elements, but for now they’re exclusive to Twitch Chat! Build 0.6.6.1Twitch Chat Integration added ːsteamhappyːPerformance improvements on Steam DeckNew community quests from NextFest playersBalanced quests and overall economyImproved logging systemOn behalf of our team (Jamayk, RustyStorm & MrPhilipJoel) - thank you!Read full article on Community Announcements (Lavibus Games)Community & EventsOfficial
Community Quests - the real Metaverse & 0.6.5.7
Hello runners! Are you enjoying Steam NextFest? We definitely are. You can check out Far Far West, such a gem; if you like Borderlands or Gunfire Reborn, you really shouldn't skip this one. Community Quests - the real metaverse?Did you notice that for each of the orders you deliver there's a little Y post (our in-game social network)? While most of them are written by us, there are a few dozens that we collected from our friends that played the game early on. Use our in-game feedback form to send us your quest and we'll add it to the game (max one per Steam account). Tell us your Y username, what building you want to live in, what product your quest is about and what are you going to post on the in-game social when players deliver your quest. Welcome to Vibe City, and thanks! - Y social network in action - Build 0.6.5.7added Quick Match option, for when you don't have a full squad to play withadded a magnet effect when picking up resource drops when players get EMPed.fixed some bugs related to the debuff managerfixed some other small bugs and errorsupdated player prefab On behalf of our team (Jamayk, RustyStorm & MrPhilipJoel), I thank for your attention and see ya next time!Read full article on Community Announcements (Lavibus Games)AnnouncementsOfficial
NextFest Feedback, Steam Deck Status & 0.6.5.5
Welcome to NextFest! We hope you'll find some good demos and have lots of fun. Can hardly wait ourselves, both as developers but also gamers (already downloaded Outbound). While a bad game is just bad, no matter the excuses, we are on our first game and well aware there's so much more we have to add and polish. We did this in our spare time with no external support nor much experience, had lots of fun while working on it and we're really looking forward to test our game loop and vibes! And maybe you'll enjoy it too! Just added a new big menu item - "SEND US QUICK FEEDBACK" - a text field will pop in the game, you write how much you hate our jetpack and hit send - DONE. On behalf of our team (Jamayk, RustyStorm & MrPhilipJoel) - thank you! Steam Deck SupportBig Steam Deck fan over here, early adopter!
