In [Gluttony], master the art of survival by swallowing enemies to gain their powers. As you fill up, unleash powerful bursts against waves of Food Devils, making split-second decisions crucial for your survival in this intense 2D indie RPG from TeamFG.

About this game

Beat'em Up, Eat'em Up

[Gluttony] is a 2D action roguelike with a classic cartoon art style, built on the unique concept of "fighting by eating."

Become a cute demon of gluttony and continuously invade the FoodHell, home of the FoodDevils, to ultimately claim the throne of Food Hell for yourself.

Unique combat system

Dodge the onslaught of approaching Food Devils, devour them to steal their abilities, and once your stomach is full, unleash it all in a single, explosive burst.

Attack enemies to wear down their health, then dash into weakened foes to swallow them in one bite.

Depending on the type of FoodDevil you devour, you'll acquire various combat abilities known as FoodPowers. Fire french fries like a gatling gun, or plant explosive cola cans like landmines.

When your Satiety is maxed out from devouring enemies, you'll instantly activate a powerful ultimate move, the Belly Burst. Be warned, as using it will consume all your Food Powers, leaving your character weakened, so use it wisely.

Upgrade to complete the build

Customize your character build by selecting a random upgrade option that appears after clearing each stage.

Fire a laser instead of a gatling gun, spread corruption among your enemies, or even become an immortal zombie.

You can also acquire special upgrades by making deals with allies you occasionally encounter.

Permanent reinforcement at the base

Remember to stop by at your base when the difficulty feels too high.

Permanently enhance your character by trading resources obtained during combat with your allies.

Increase your character's base stats with Devil's Meat, acquired through regular stages, or unlock skills that strengthen your Food Powers with Boss Coins, earned by defeating bosses.

    GLUTTONY Demo v0.2.3.1 Patch Notes

GLUTTONY Demo v0.2.3.1 Patch NotesHello, this is Team FG.The main focus of the v0.2.3.1 update is to bring back the importance of decision-making during combat. In GLUTTONY's early development, carefully choosing when to Feast on enemies was one of the core gameplay elements. However, as we continued to make the game more accessible through various difficulty adjustments, the overall combat experience gradually changed.Over time, we introduced several player-friendly features, including:Invincibility frames during FeastAn emergency survival system to prevent sudden deathsAdditional hit reactions and attack telegraphsOverall difficulty adjustmentsWhile these changes made the game more approachable, they also led to one of the most common pieces of feedback we received:"The game eventually becomes about spamming the Space key."To address this issue without making the game feel restrictive, we've completely reworked the Feast system by introducing a new Charge-based Cooldown System.New Feature: Feast ChargesFeast now uses a charge system.Starting Charges: 3Each charge recovers independently.Base cooldown per charge: 5 secondsPlayers can choose to spend all of their charges in an emergency or save some for upcoming threats.Managing your remaining Feast charges and reading the battlefield will now play a much bigger role in combat, encouraging more deliberate and strategic gameplay.New Feature: Food Combo RewardWe've also significantly improved the value of the Food Combo system.A Food Combo is activated by:Feasting on the same enemy type 3 times consecutively, or(Unlocked through future upgrades) Feasting on 4 different enemy types consecutively. When a Food Combo is completed, all Feast charges are instantly restored. This encourages players not only to survive, but also to think carefully about which enemies to Feast on and how to maintain their combos throughout a run.Other ChangesVarious bug fixes.Text and localization improvements.Adjusted Shop and Event currency rewa...

Recently, we’ve been busy reorganizing the overall game while continuing development on Chapters 2 and 3, which are not yet included in the demo. This 2.2 update focuses on addressing feedback that the game could be cleared by repeatedly pressing the Space key without proper decision-making. Our goal was to reduce this issue and encourage more deliberate gameplay.Below are the main changes.Combat & Difficulty AdjustmentsOverall enemy density and difficulty have been reduced.Added telegraphed indicators to enemy attacks, allowing players more time to react.System ChangesSpace auto-devour now targets a random enemy instead of the nearest one.Added a slight delay and dedicated animation when using Belly Burst.New ContentAdded 5 new Spices and Relics.Visual ImprovementsImproved the visibility of food items to make them easier to identify during combat.Bug FixesFixed an issue where the Spice UI remained visible after closing the Tab menu when holding more than three Spices.Fixed an issue where incorrect placeholder text appeared when obtaining a Recipe while already holding a Spice. We will continue improving the game to provide a better gameplay experience.
