    MURDEER Demo Patch #3

Hello Murdeerers! Thank you all for waiting patiently while we've been getting ready for the next series of patches. There's lots to go over, and we're excited for you all to try it! This is the first of 3 relatively major patches we'll be doing over the next month or so, to finalize the demo experience of MURDEER. Here's what you can expect from them: buffs and nerfs for the player, enemy, and gun attachments the start of the shop overhaul the miniboss! Overall, we want to give players a taste of all the systems we have planned for the full release of MURDEER. However, due to the limited scope of this demo, some of these features may not feel complete. Fear not, as there will be plenty more content upon release. We hope you enjoy all our hard work! With that said, on to this patch... We've been watching. We've been watching SciCorp, we've been watching the rat, and most importantly, we've been watching you all, playing as the Murdeer. And, uh, it turns out that SciCorp's paying their staff entirely too much money... at this rate, the staff (notably the scientists) may never let the murdeer escape. Having said that, we've decided to cut corprate funding by 60%, and we've also reduced scheduled company mealtime to 1 (times per week). We hope that these changes will help improve good times and help innocent deer escape! On a more serious note, here are the highlights for this patch: Version 0.4.6 - Changelog: Rebalancing Reduced the amount of enemies in containment. Deers, rejoice! Increased the multiplier on headshots. This should mean that the majority of headshots will be 1 shots. Increased red barrel explosion damage. Quality of Life Updated the "retry" button to put the player straight back into the action. Updated the elevator shop microwave and pedestal placement. Optimization and Bugfixes Optimized camera draw distance. This should yield slightly better performance overall. Fixed a bug where some active items would be missing a mesh when thrown. Fixed a bug wh...

    MURDEER Demo Patch #2

Version 0.4.5 - Changelog:GeneralMade the Feedback & Bug Reports button more obvious. Identified some areas where performance could be improved. One main culprit was volumetric fog, so we've added video settings for toggling and adjusting it. We have a couple more things on our radar that should also help with performance over the next few patch cycles!Stealing the PowerGun now sets off alarms in the Containment level. No additional mechanic, just adding to the chaos. When a character speaks with typewriter text, you can now press Interact to skip to the end. Fast readers rejoice!CombatExplosive barrels have a wider explosion range and do more damage to enemies.Another explosive item has been added 👀BugfixesFixed the steam bursting out of the pipes in the Boiler level, which are now correctly doing damage!Fixed how the PowerGun reloads while in the empowered mode, which should be a buff.Found a condition where the rat could get stuck mid-transition as he was coming out to meet you in the elevator, which should now be fixed.

    MURDEER Demo Patch #1

Hey everyone!First of all, thank you to all the players who have tried out the MURDEER demo since we put it up a few days ago. We hope you've been enjoying it and we can't wait to keep sharing more with you as we continue development. This patch is pretty small in terms of listed changes, but nevertheless important to mention.Version 0.4.4 - Changelog:Feedback & Bug Report form now available. In Main Menu, Pause, Victory, and Death screens, look for the deer head icon in the bottom right. Please send us your thoughts, bug descriptions, and maybe some ASCII art!Anonymous player data is now collected whenever a run ends via Restart, Quit, Death, or Victory. This contains things like how long the run was, how many attachments you had, total money spent, as well as some basic system info like GPU and operating system. This is here to help us during development, since it allows us to figure out what our minimum/suggested specs should be and address balance issues based on patterns we can identify. Feel free to opt out by going in the Game Settings.
