Type the stress away!
Thanks to a suggestion from a friend, Ada decided to spell out her thoughts while in bed to sleep faster. Otherwise, she'll be a restless mess on the next day!
It ain't easy being the boss
Almost every other day, Ada has to make decisions that will alter how her night will go. Some decisions make the night easier but makes the rest of the playthrough a lot easier... and vice versa!
Things to Expect
A precision-based typing game where accuracy and speed matter. The more typos you make or words you miss, the more her stress builds until she can’t sleep at all.

A relaxing lo-fi soundtrack to serenade you as you type.
Multiple difficulty settings for every skill level, so you can play at your own pace.
A story mode where some nights will have you make decisions that alter the mode's difficulty!

Today's update consist of balancing, QoLs, bug fixes, and minor changes to the story mode's modifier system. Also, the game's launch sale will last until February 8 so get your copy while it lasts since it won't be discounted at this price for a good while!ChangelogNew\ The round win screen now shows a % symbol when showing the typing accuracy stat.\ Added a warning in the settings menu whenever the player selects Japanese or Simplified Chinese as the language for the word list.\ Scene transitions now uses a circle pattern rather than just fading to black.Changed\ Heuristic for modifier acquisition has been improved. This means that when being given new modifiers, it'll prioritize giving you only one modifier that add word effects to spawned words (e.g. Word Chaos, Word Slow, etc.)\ Applied modifiers that are tagged \ to word clouds now have compatibility checks. This ensures modifiers that logically should be incompatible with each other are indeed incompatible.\ The story mode's modifier acquisition ratio changed from 3:1 to 2:1. This means that instead of getting 3 negative modifiers and 1 positive modifier. You're only getting 2 negative modifiers and one positive modifier whenever you choose a hard choice. The same goes for easy choices.\ Spawn interval now increases a little depending on how many additional words get spawned each wave.\ 'Sleep Limit' modifier has been adjusted to now only have a maximum effect of 50% instead of 100%. Minimum is still 10%.\ Small interface adjustment for intermission aftermath interface. This is the interface (or UI screen) you see when you complete a round in Story Mode, and you're brought to a new scene with the monthly planner.\ Modifiers now don't mention anything about their effects stacking, since this mechanic was removed in 1.0. SkilZ here and It's great to see you again. It's been around 2 or so months since the last update, as we've been hard at work behind the scenes to deliver a product we're proud of and a game we're hoping you'll enjoy. So what have we been working on? Let's talk about the biggest ones. Before that, do note that the following features shown here are subject to change on the final release. Now, with that out of the way, let's begin.Story ModeOn my last blog post, I didn't really say anything concrete about the game mode, other than it was going to modify the base gameplay seen in the freeplay mode. Well, now I'm gonna expand more about what I meant back then.In the game's story mode, you play as Ada Hejmiika, your everyday office lady who works too hard to keep her department (and paycheck) running smoothly and not fall apart. Due to an upcoming conference and with the advice of a friend, Ada decides to fix her sleeping habits to improve her overall mood. The story mode will be composed of rounds where Ada has to get a good night's rest before the run continues. On some days (marked with a star sticker), an event (called dilemmas) will occur that Ada has to make a choice for that will affect the rest of the run. Before bed, Ada sometimes have to make a choice on how to deal with a situation at work. Ada can either be selfless or be selfish. The choice is yours. By the way, ignore the list on the right for now. We'll get to that later.Your choices do have consequences, and it'll affect how the reminder of the ru...Read full article on Community Announcements (SkilZentDevUser01)AnnouncementsOfficial
What's Next?
Hello Everyone! This Steam Next Fest is over, but our work continues on. But first things first,Thank YOU for 800 wishlists. We literally wouldn't be here without your support! We promise to work hard on trying to deliver the sleepiest, coziest, comfiest, chillest typing game in the market on launch. What's NextWe've gone through the feedback you've given us from the game's demo, and we want to share to you our plans for the game's release.A Font ChangeWe hear you loud and clear, the current font of the game makes it difficult to differentiate between the uncapitalized As and Os. We're currently working on implementing a new font that follows our criteria:Fits the game's soft, cute aesthetic.Dyslexia-friendly (which also means very readable for non-dyslexics)Can support the game's supported languages. We're not sure how long it'll take to find a font that matches all our criteria, but we'll let you know when we have done so.Story ModeOur next focus is getting this mode (and Zen Mode) completed. The entire past month since our last blog was focused on nailing down the typing gameplay, among other things. From your feedback, you really enjoyed the base gameplay, and we're glad to hear that, that means we can now go full steam ahead into expanding the base gameplay with the gameplay modifiers. We'll tell you more about the Story Mode (and the modifier system that comes with it) in the coming weeks, as this a topic that needs its own blog post.Translations (and Dialects)One thing we heard (and made an emergency patch for) is the need for not just translations for other languages (we want to once again apologize for not having the demo in languages other than English) but also for dialect (US and UK English). We plan to address this by adding options for both language and dialect for both the user interface and word bank. We'll tell you more once we have more to show. And that's a wrap! We'll talk more once we have more news to share. Once again, thank you for all the support...Read full article on Community Announcements (SkilZentDevUser01)Patch NotesOfficial
