September 2026 Mini Update
Hello friends of Bru & Boegie! It's been a while so I figured it was a good time to check in with some Bru & Boegie news of the world.Firstly, the game continues to sell, especially when it's discounted - thank you for all the support! It's sold 1,395 copies with a 'Very Positive' rating - a fantastic achievement for their first game outing, according to me! Italian and RussianI have completed Italian and Russian text translations of Episode 1 kindly done by 2 people who offered to do those, that I plan to include in a future update of the game more than likely in the next couple of months, so please look forward to that if you're Italian or Russian, and I hope Bru & Boegie find a whole new audience as a result of those translations.Episode 2I took a break after completing the enormous Episode 2 demo (which is available now if you'd like to play it!) but with any luck, should be able to get back to 'getting it done' fairly soon, so we can all continue helping Bru on his Sisyphean quest to find a humble cup of coffee to his liking. Episode 2 will also take part in Steam NextFest, which will hopefully give it a bit of a boost.100 Videos!If you've created a playthrough, please let me know in the comments and I'll add it to the YouTube playlist! The Final Push for Ep2!
Allo peoples of the Steamiverse! Seemed like a good time to pop in and provide some Bru & Boegie updates!Episode 1Episode 1 is currently on 70% discount, so I'm squeezing the last bit of juice out of it before Episode 2 demo lands. Ep2 continues on right after the events of Episode 1.Thanks so much to everyone who purchased and played Episode 1! It's sold over 750 copies, which I'm thrilled with. ❤️ With any luck this might be able to turn into a sustainable career. I do need your help to get the word out please, every little sale and engagement helps, I'm just one dude and doing my best while I can! The Italian translation is partially done (a kind volunteer took it on but got busy with other work) and someone's recently kindly offered to do a Russian translation, so there may be 2 more languages coming to Episode 1 if/when they're ready! I'm still super keen to get a German translation done, so if you are that person or know someone who might be interested in doing that, please get in touch!Episode 2I've been hard at work since last year on Episode 2. The demo is almost complete, and I suspect I'll be ready to launch it in a couple weeks. I know my timeline on its launch has shifted to later than I'd imagined, but the new game has quite a few moving parts and I've had to keep the game fairly neat and performant because it's so much bigger than Episode 1. Anyways, it's shaped up great, and I really am looking forward for you guys to continue Bru's Sisyphean quest to get a coffee, with a BUNCH of new and improved animations (so many unique animations just for the demo), nicer UI, sounds, voices, a much bigger world where we get to explore a buncha locations in KiffTown etc... basically everything's poppin' imo.
