Five Never-Ending Nightmares...
You have five nights to survive the horrors of GrimmHaus Asylum. Explore different areas of the hospital, find tools such as a crowbar to unlock blocked passages, and solve puzzles to open new routes and shortcuts. Hide inside lockers, avoid making noise, and use stealth to evade Dr. Viscera. With limited inventory space, you'll need to manage your resources and store important items in safe locations. Every decision can bring you closer to freedom or a terrible fate.

Hotfixes - Nurse Update v2.1.28
Enemy AI & Stability • Fixed several rare states that could leave the Nurse stuck, permanently passive, or unable to resume aiming or patrol. • Improved Nurse navigation around doors, cabinets, corners, and unreachable patrol points. She now recovers faster from patrol loops and investigates sounds on the correct floor. • Improved locker attacks, gun recovery, and respawn reliability, including fixes for rare pistol duplication and visible repositioning. • Fixed the Doctor becoming stuck after interrupted traversal sequences or interactions with the sliding library door. • Fixed long-distance locker grabs that could make the Doctor appear to teleport. • The Doctor now notices players who leave a locker while he is searching nearby. • Fixed Max remaining stuck in his walking animation after safe-zone or teddy-bear interactions. Gameplay • Items placed or dropped inside drawers now remain stable and follow drawer movement correctly. • Door interactions are more reliable when aiming near highlighted edges and frames. • Fixed rare bear-trap, fall, and death-sequence edge cases that could leave controls or triggers in the wrong state after respawning. • Improved interrupted sequence handoffs to reduce animation pops. Audio • Improved chase-music transitions when the Doctor and Nurse enter or leave pursuit. • Added stronger floor-to-floor sound isolation throughout GrimmHaus. • Fixed sewer ambience leaking into upper floors and restored Larry's idle breathing audio. Visuals & Options • Increased the default brightness from 0.5 to 0.7. • Fixed several Brazilian Portuguese localization issues. • Minor emissive-material fixes. Enemy AI & Stability The Nurse now always drops her weapon when stunned (previously she could occasionally keep it).Fixed the Nurse's arm breaking and twisting after certain grab kills, which prevented her from aiming properly.Fixed the Nurse sometimes turning invisible (while her sounds kept playing) after being shot.Expanded the automatic recovery system so any interrupted grab or kill sequence now recovers on its own, without forcing a restart.Fixed a brief freeze that could occur during locker grabs. Gameplay Fixed getting permanently stuck (spinning in place) in a bear trap — you can now always break free.Fixed a bug where crossbow bolts would not go through the elevator door when it was open.Fixed the pistol building minigame. Enemy AI & Stability Fixed a issue where enemies could permanently stop reacting to the player after certain encounters, added an automatic recovery safety net. Enemies (the Nurse and the Doctor) no longer get stuck or wander out of bounds; they now automatically recover and reposition. The Nurse no longer gets stuck trying to enter locked rooms. Fixed the Doctor's patrol routes. Fixed Sewer Monster not sitting down after receiving the teddy bear. Gameplay Fixed the pistol building minigame. Fixed fountain wall collision. Minor item adjustments. Performance Rendering and off-screen animation optimizations for smoother performance, especially on lower-end hardware. Audio Reduced the metallic / ringing character of reverb and environmental reflections. Fixed reverb, attenuation, and SFX volume balance across the game. Fixed cemetery rain sound effects. Reduced light-buzzing noise. Visuals & Options Fixed books and barrels textures. Hey everyone! This is a small update focused on improving AI behavior and expanding language support. Updated Content AI Idle Behavior Improvements We heavily improved the Doctor’s idle behavior system. Several bugs were fixed, including an issue where he would randomly stop his actions or animations for no reason. Idle sequences should now feel smoother, more natural, and more consistent. New Language: Portuguese (Portugal) Added full PT-PT translation covering menus, UI, subtitles, and in-game text. Fixes & Improvements Multiple fixes related to idle AI routines.
