  DevLog #4: Demo Updates – July 2025

  Hello to all the Defenders (and assorted pervs)!As promised, we'll keep adding new things to the free demo as we grind our way to the full game.New big things (aside from Marty's hehe)The main menu (your in-game mobile) got a major makeover! Everything now runs on sexy new "apps" and the hottest of them all is the TitCock social platform!Through TitCock, you can check on Marty's stats as they develop, but let's be real, more importantly for all you pervs out there, you'll be able to stalk (follow) your friends (daytime characters) and foes* (nighttime). As you play the game, the app will update with all the characters you meet, and more importantly (for all the pervs out there), you can replay all the saucy illustrations you unlocked through dialogues, whenever you're in the mood for a little... inspiration. (We know you want to)*Foes are cumming in the next update. We promise it'll be worth the wait 😏💦Other Tasty UpdatesBackground improvements, with new animationsUpdate to the school mapVarious minor bugfixes and tweaksSave CompatibilityYour old saves should work, but because of new variables and conditions, it's possible some things won't update as intended.   Demo rebalance and bug fixes

  Greetings, Defenders!Based on feedback and comments, we balanced the game, fixed some bugs and hope this patch eases the access of the Demo for people!✨What's new:More explicit illustrations are now animated!More animated BackgroundsQuest descriptions in the quest logSkill checks can now be rolled on the 'Spacebar' button! You still need to make the choices via mouse click, but we're working on that too.🏰Tower Defense got a revamp!Opponents have been rebalanced slightly.Opponents now provide more Essence. Juicy!Towers scale more noticeable with Marty's attributes.Two currencies: one for building, one for keepingThis means that you'll keep all the earned money, but will not carry the starting essence to the shop.You'll have to arouse your enemies to get that sweet nectar!Global buildings like the Cauldron of Climax and Grand Arcane Orgium can now be build a specific number of times during the TD Mini-game for further optimisation.Players can now see how much Essence they will carry over to the shop! A visual indicator is present!Death animations are now played for every opponent who is slain!🐞Bug FixesCertain bugs that impacted the gameplay have been fixed!All Character SFX are now influenced by the settings slider.Music sliders in the options now work as intended and carry over from scene to scene!Dick Gobbler's shop visual bugs are fixed!   Day 1 patch is (a)live!!

  Hey there pervs,First off, thanks to everyone who's played the demo, wishlisted, or just added Only Defense to their library. Means a lot. Here's a saucy gif as a token of gratitude:So... We had one super-busy day fixing a shitton of fixes, some were big, many were small, we hope we didn't break something else, but it's possible, that's game dev.FixesNow when that that's out of the way, here's what we fixed:Some broken animationsLocation backgrounds not working as intendedRare dialogue bugs where a dialogue would lead to a wrong branch, or if it would break and lead to where it shouldn't. The game has a lot of text and branches, so it's hard to keep it all in check.Some tower defense issuesSave / load issuesMinor quality of life tweaksSome graphics improvementsNew icon - hey, you can't say it's not pretty!So, what's next?The demo will stay yours forever, no rush. We will update it as we develop the game further, but the scope of the demo will not change, as it's already about 1-2 hours of normal playtime.We will continue to work on the rest of the game. We plan to release it until the end of the year - sooner the better, but we can't make any promises yet.There's a lot of dialogues and quests already written - more than 7000 lines so far - that's about the size of a regular novel. The full game will be at least 4 times the size of the demo.Expect many more perversions and animated sex scenes, as the demo is only the warmup.5 faction leaders with 4 levels with 5 waves of tower defense, and about 10-15 buildings to buy and upgrade. We don't aim for the grind, instead we want to be more generous and make you feel more powerful as you progress.We want to make all kinds of accessibility features, localizations, etc. but it will all depend on the game's success, and that's where you can come in!We want to hear from youWe are making this game because we love making games, and we're having a lot of fun with this one.
