Explore the Depths by assembling your deck and building an outpost in this unique roguelite simulation. Discover powerful synergies to push further into the ever-evolving underground world.

About this game

Lead an expedition into the ever-changing caves of the Depths. Build using a wide variety of cards, gather resources and venture into the farthest reaches of this dark place.

Establish Your Settlement

Each turn, use cards to grow your small outpost into a powerful stronghold. At the same time, carefully balance your dwindling resources to survive.

  • Plan your settlement wisely to create powerful synergies between cards.

  • Adapt your strategy and expand your deck by leveling up through the research system. New cards and powerful relics will help you overcome the challenges ahead.

  • Rations might be more valuable than gold in these deserted caverns. The larger your settlement becomes, the harder it is to keep it fed and alive.

Explore the Depths

The Depths is a perilous and ever-changing realm that hides untold riches. As you descend, the environment changes. From the rocky and barren Upper Levels, through the foggy Humid Caves and scorching Magma Caverns, to the deepest Abyss: each biome offers new challenges to overcome. But beware of the dangers lurking in the shadows.

Start over!

Even if you fail, it's not time to give up! Prepare for your next expedition: unlock permanent upgrades in the shop and assemble your starting deck. Procedurally generated caves and a vast collection of cards to choose from will affect your playstyle, making each expedition unique.

Numerous expeditions have failed to conquer the Depths, and yours is no exception. Learn from your mistakes, discover game-changing combinations, and become stronger. Only the most iron-willed will return in fame and glory.

Hi!Stonefalls could be frustr!ng sometimes, so after reading your reviews, I decided to tone them down a little.Another new addition is that you can now see where a Stonefall will hit one turn in advance. Here's a migration guide:Press Win + R, write "appdata" (without quotes) and press EnterFrom there navigate to "LocalLow\\SmelJey\\Into the Depths\\Saves". It should look like thisCopy your save filesOpen Steam Library, right click Into the Depths, select PropertiesOpen Installed Files page and click "Browse" buttonNavigate to the Saves folder. Inside, there should be another subfolder with a numeric name. Open it.Paste your saves files into this folderMigration completeI'm terribly sorry if you've been affected by this issue.Note: If you haven't played version 1.0.2, or if you haven't created any new save files in that version, please don't do anything.
