  Performance Update

  Performance Update is live! 🛠️Hey everyone! We’ve just released a new Performance Update for Bum: Revenge. This patch is all about making the game run smoother, feel more stable, and eliminate the most common performance hiccups you’ve been reporting. 🔧 What’s improvedLobby performance optimization The lobby is now lighter and more responsive — faster loading, smoother navigation, and less overhead in the background.Reduced / removed FPS drops We’ve worked on performance bottlenecks that could cause sudden frame dips. Gameplay should now stay much more consistent, with fewer random FPS spikes or drops.Skill Tree fix (perk auto-blocking) Fixed an issue where perks could block themselves automatically, making progression confusing or impossible in certain situations.Settings optimization & fixes Settings should behave more reliably, and we’ve optimized parts of the settings system to reduce unnecessary load and improve overall stability.Overall stabilityWith these changes, the game should now be noticeably more stable and better optimized across the board.What’s nextNow that performance is in a much healthier place, we’ll be shifting focus toward adding new content — more things to do, more ways to play, and more updates that expand the experience.Thanks a ton for playing and sending reports — it genuinely helps us improve the game.   Christmas is around the corner and the spirit of the holidays is already here. What better way to celebrate this than with our new CHRISTMAS MAJOR UPDATE!!!!! Kasia's mission received an adjustment. Now you just have to pet her, not feed her. ✦ 🎅🏻 Removed Side quests from save. Reports came in about players getting stuck when this occurred. You won't get stuck anymore. ✦ 🎅🏻 Added Bicycle third person camera (toggle on "C"). There's no better way to see the world around you! Toggle that third person camera and mesmerize over your new ride. ✦ 🎅🏻 Added Flashlight. We're finding Alan Wake with this one. 🔥 ✦ 🎅🏻 Added Voice Chat. What? You really thought you need to learn sign language? Props to those who know it (I don't). ✦ 🎅🏻 Added Customization. You can now customize your character in lobby and in game. A few hats are locked, but you can unlock them by completing achievements or getting limited time items. ✦ 🎅🏻 Added new limited time Christmas side quest. Unlocked after rescuing Architect. 🍺 Bug Fixes Of the year. ✦ 🎄 Fixed Skill Tree display. ✦ 🎄 Fixed map collisions in many places. ✦ 🎄 Fixed problems with new pickup system - now items shouldn't be stuck in hands.   🥤 Gluten Free Fappé - Major Update

  Ah... the sun is rising, and the bum menace continues. What better time to talk about our new MAJOR UPDATE, Gluten Free Fappé, than now? We've been hard at work behind the scenes (or should we say piles) to finish the new overhaul for Bum: Revenge. In these patch notes, all the bums out there will be introduced to several new mechanics, gameplay and graphics changes. You will have the days of your life going through the streets. Without further ado, let's see what has been cooked for the community. 🍺 Map Layout Physical map, forest upgrades and more! That random piece of paper that you found next to the trash was actually a treasure find after all. You will now be able to look at it and see exactly what this place is all about. All players will now have access to a map by using the corresponding hotkey.
