Navigate the dark tunnels of Sub Terra, fixing leaks as a maintenance worker before facing the unsettling truths hidden within. Artescape crafts a free-to-play simulation that blends casual gameplay with psychological horror.
About this game

Sub Terra is a single-player first person psychological horror game inspired by The Backrooms. As a maintenance worker, you've spent your whole life venturing deep underground to repair pipes, gas lines, you name it. Utilities that we take for granted.
On a day like any other, you enter the manhole and descend the depths to replace a water line at the end of tunnel 04-R. The job is straightforward. The directions are clear.
But your repair doesn't go quite as planned.

Immersive Experience: Realistic graphics and spatialized audio create a truly immersive experience guaranteed to make you feel like you're really 50 feet under.
Unravel a Mystery: Piece together hints and clues to learn the tragic story of what's been buried underground.
Keep an Eye Out: You know the tunnels like the back of your hand, but you're not the only thing down there.
Locations: Your job may be down a manhole, but you'll discover much more than just maintenance tunnels.
Warning: Sub Terra contains loud noises, flashing lights and material that may be disturbing to some individuals.

Hotfix v1.02
Moved the 'Disable Shadow Denoiser' option to the top of the Video section to hopefully help people who might be experiencing visual glitches in certain areas. Some info below: According to my limited knowledge (I'm a first time dev so this is all a little new) certain PC's running NVIDIA drivers past version 552.44 may experience a flickering/ghosting effect when playing through parts of the tunnels level. The only documented ways I've found to remedy this problem is rolling back Nvidia drivers, or disabling the shadow denoiser. Obviously the latter is preferable, so hopefully this change may help people fix flickering issues.Read full article on Community Announcements (artescape)Patch NotesOfficial
