A New Game Mode - Patch 1.8.0
Developer NotesHey there, we hope you've had a nice start to your September! Cory and I had a busy summer working on 3 games with the help of Set Sail Gamest and Sockhouse Studios. The 4 of us took what Cory and I learned from making A Game About Feeding A Black Hole and built 3 games that we think each explore the concepts in interesting and fun ways. And a special thank you to those who played any of our new games that launched last week:Just Keep FishingOrb BreakerMining & DwarvesAs always a huge thank you for the continued support and feedback about our new modes. If you'd like to support Cory and myself any more please checkout the Googly Eye Supporter Pack which adds cute googly eyes to the black hole. I think it's particularly cute in the new Just Keep Fishing mode since the eyes will follow the cute turtle around the screen. We'd love to hear if you have ideas for future modes! Cheers, Andy (Aarimous)New Just Keep Fishing Mode:To celebrate the release of one of our new games Just Keep Fishing we added in a silly new game mode called Just Keep Fishing Mode. This mode is inspired by one of the Just Keep Fishing mini games and the cute turtle pet you can catch. In this mode your pet turtle will swim around chasing your mouse and catching tons of fish. By the end of the game the turtle will be casting 100's of rods per second! Hope you enjoy this mode and check out one of our new games! Patch 1.8 Notes:Added a new game mode "Just Keep Fishing Mode”Have your pet turtle catch tons asteroids in this cute mode celebrating our new game Just Keep Fishing! The mode takes about 10-15 minutes to completeAdded a new achievement for beating this modeAdded a new mechanic called Turtle which will chase your cursor around catching fishAdded 7 new upgrades and icons to support this new modeAdded a button to hide the promotion banner for our other gamesAdded a setting to the setting screen to also hide the promotion bannerRead full article on Community Announcements (Aarimous)AnnouncementsOfficial

The Googly Eye Supporter DLC
We just launched the Googly Eye Supporter DLC! A black-hole-sized thank you to everyone who has played our game, recommended it to a friend, and left a review on Steam. We still can't believe how many of you have fed the Black Hole! This summer we've been hard at work on our next games (launching 3 of them tomorrow, August 27th), and we wanted to take a break from those to add a way to give your Black Hole cute little googly eyes. This is a 100% cosmetic supporter pack, and all purchases go toward funding future updates to this game, work on our future games, and just maybe work on a sequel. We're open to adding more settings for the googly eyes, so please let us know if you have any ideas. Patch Notes:Added support for the new Googly Eye Supporter DLCYou'll only see the eyes if you own the supporter packAdded a setting to enable/disable the googly eyesUpdated the "Our Next Games" banner with new art and look/feelThe "Our Next Games" banner now hides games you already ownRead full article on Community Announcements (Aarimous)Patch NotesOfficial

Our Next Games + A New Game Mode - Patch 1.7.0
Our Next Games + New Mode for Black HoleHey there, we hope you've had a nice start to your June! Cory and I are doing well and have been hard at work on our next games. As always a huge thank you for the continued support and feedback about our new modes! While we are busy cooking our next game we still have a few plans for new modes although no promises on when the next modes will come. Our New Studio:Cory (Thornity) and I (Aarimous) had such a great time co-creating A Game About Feeding A Black Hole that we decided to create our own studio Aarimout and Thornity. We are going to continue making games together and have expanded our efforts to partner with fellow indie developers to co-create their games. We think of it like a blender between developing and publishing their games. Our Next Games:Orb BreakerOur next game entirely developed by Cory (Thornity) and myself (Aarimous). Wishlist: Demo:Mining and DwarvesCo-developed with Sockhouse Studios the dev behind Click and Conquer. Wishlist: Demo: Just Keep FishingCo-developed with Set Sail Games the dev behind Bridges and Docks and better known on YouTube as Thomas Stewart.Wishlist: Demo: New Orb Breaker Mode:To celebrate our new game Orb Breaker we added in a silly new game mode called Orb Breaker. You'll break asteroids and spawn tons of orbs that will bounce around breaking asteroids for you. The mode takes about 10-15 min and you'll spawn so many orbs that you'll start to lag and I am ok with that because I love seeing all the chaos!Patch 1.7 Notes:Added a new game mode “Orb Breaker”A silly mode to celebrate our new game Orb Breaker.Added a new mechanic called OrbsAdded 7 new upgrades and iconsAdded in a setting for Scientific Notation (you're welcome esotericist)Removed the pop in animation from upgrade screen since it felt odd once you got to end of the treeRead full article on Community Announcements (Aarimous)
