About this game
COTS is a game about strategy. It’s a fun tower defense roguelike where chickens are the protagonists of their own story, and have to fight to defend their territory. But these are no ordinary chickens : they are Cots, chickens with unique abilities!
Each day, earn some new cards to upgrade and defend your coop: Your goal is to survive for as many nights as possible against waves of wild predators invading your land. To succeed, think up strategies using your Cots, eggs, buildings, traps, obstacles, and spells to repel the nighttime assaults!
Story
Since the tragic death of King Roosterico, the Protector of the coop, the cots have taken their destiny into their own wings, determined to defend their home and fight against the fierce predators threatening their land!
Cots
Each Cot is unique, with her own role and specific abilities. Upgrade and combine them to strenghten your defense! Your Cots also lay eggs that can be used as currency to purchase new cards and building upgrades.
Boosters
Every day, you will receive a booster containing three random cards from the Cots' goddess, the Golden Cot. But beware... if you play long enough, you may encounter the goddess's rather challenging twin, who will sometimes take her place.
Cards
Strategically use your cards to add traps, place obstacles, construct buildings, cast spells, or set up Cot houses. The more you play, the more new cards you can collect in your Encyclopedia!
Assaults
When night falls, use your Cots and spells wisely to defend your henhouse and buildings from predators. Each Cot will automatically fight and/or support others based on her assigned role.
Predators
There are different types of predators, each with its own specific traits. Be particularly cautious of the bosses... they show no mercy!
Never the same
Each playthrough offers different card loot and strategic options, guiding your game in unique ways. Which path will take you the farthest?

A non-traditional tower defense game!
How it started ?When we decided to create a game about chickens defending themselves against predators, a tower defense felt like a natural choice. However, we do not strictly adhere to the classical mechanics of traditional tower defense games, especially when it comes to how players need to strategize!How are we different from other Tower-Defense?In our game, the coop does not have a straightforward path for enemies to invade. Predators can enter from any open side they choose. Therefore, the goal is not only to block paths or place attacking turrets. Instead, the core of the strategy revolves around creating synergies between unique building effects and upgrading your Cots units!Enhance player experience with cards!We also introduced a card system to enhance our tower defense gameplay. Each round, players are offered a booster or three cards, which can be used to place buildings, set traps, or cast spells. Set-up obstacles to prevent predators from reaching your Henhouse. 🌃 FIGHT WHEN NIGHT FALL 🌃When you think your defenses are ready (or you're out of energy) you can start fighting. During the night, cast spells to help your Cots against the invading predators. When no enemies are left, the night ends and the Golden Cot grants you a booster containing 3 Cards. 🛒 BUY NEW CARDS 🛒Our rarity system filters cards from common to legendary, you can use these cards to enhance your coop or sell them to purchase new ones in the shop.
