About this game

The Borderless is a cozy floating island management sim where you build and expand your own island world in the middle of the ocean.

Start with a small floating platform and grow it into your own ocean paradise... Welcome visitors, manage their needs, earn money, plan activities, hire staff, and shape your island day by day.

BUILD AND EXPAND

Grow your floating island piece by piece. Shape the layout, create new spaces for visitors, and turn an empty ocean platform into a lively island destination.

WELCOME VISITORS

Visitors arrive by boat, explore your island, spend money, join activities, and react to how well everything is managed. Keep them happy, meet their needs, and use your earnings to keep growing.

PLAN EACH DAY

Decide how many visitors to welcome, prepare your island before they arrive, and deal with the results of your choices. A well-prepared island can bring happier guests, better feedback, more income, and stronger growth.

HOST ACTIVITIES

Schedule activities, prepare the right conditions, and make your island feel more alive with events that bring visitors together.

HIRE STAFF

Bring in daily staff for cleaning, service, and entertainment as your island becomes busier.

ENJOY ISLAND LIFE

Your main character is part of island life too. Fish, swim, rest, dance, chat with visitors, clean when needed, and take small actions that support your island or help you enjoy the peaceful ocean atmosphere.

PLAY AT YOUR OWN PACE

Chase long-term goals, grow your visitor numbers, and build a successful island destination, or take a slower path. Welcome fewer visitors, spend your days fishing, swimming, resting, decorating, and enjoying your peaceful ocean paradise.

It Almost Feels Like I Made The Borderless Again

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since the last update.I’ve spent that time going through the feedback from the demo and improving the parts of the game that needed more work. What started as a list of fixes and improvements gradually turned into changes across almost every part of the game, so this update ended up being much bigger than I originally planned. The UI has been redesigned, the ocean has been rebuilt, building and object editing have been improved, onboarding has been reworked, party mini-games have been added, and the game is now available in 12 languages. At this point, it almost feels like I’ve built The Borderless a second time. Here are some of the biggest changes:A completely redesigned UIThe entire interface has been rebuilt to make the game clearer, easier to read, and more consistent overall.A completely new oceanThe ocean has been rebuilt with new visuals, movement, depth, and underwater atmosphere, giving the island a much stronger sense of being out in the open sea.The Borderless now supports 12 languagesThe game can now be played in:English, French, Italian, German, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Turkish, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Polish.Improved onboarding and a new Quick GuideThe tutorial and early-game flow have been reworked based on player feedback, with clearer guidance and a new Quick Guide that you can check whenever you need a reminder.Party mini-gamesParties are now more interactive. Once a party begins, you can take part in mini-games around the party area.Improved building and object editingBuilding now uses a snap grid for more consistent placement, while free placement is still available if you prefer it.The old removal system has also been expanded, so you can now choose to move an object directly or return it to your inventory.Core gameplay and quality-of-life improvementsThe core gameplay loop and balancing have received another pass, along with many smaller improvements throughout the game.I’ve also adde...

A Small Demo Update: Staff Menu and Upcoming Activities Preview

Hi everyone,I’ve added a small preview of some upcoming systems to the demo. The new Island Staff menu is now visible in the game. Staff hiring is not active yet, but this menu shows one of the systems I’m preparing for future updates. The plan is to let players hire daily staff for things like cleaning, service, and entertainment.I also updated the Activities menu with names for some planned activities beyond the Party system. These are still locked for now, but I wanted players to get a clearer sense of where the game is heading. This update does not add major new playable content yet. It is more of a small groundwork / preview update before these systems become fully active.Thank you so much to everyone playing the demo and sharing feedback. It continues to help shape the game a lot.
