Join up to four friends for high-flying races and epic battles on snowy slopes. In Slopeside Kings, your next trick could be your ticket to victory.

About this game

Slopeside Kings is a multiplayer snowboarding combat racer for up to four players, where you shred the slopes, catch big air, and pull off tricks to build boost. Pickup and use chaotic items along the slopes to battle your way to the finish line!

Traverse several different slopes—each with ramps, obstacles, and the occasional shortcut.

A tip from Yeti Mountain Ski Patrol: AVOID THE ANIMALS. They are not your friends; they will hit you, they will hurt you, and your fellow racers will not help you.

Use ramps to catch air and do tricks to build up your boost meter. Burn boost to speed past slower racers!

A tip from the Yeti Mountain Ski Patrol: LAND YOUR TRICKS. Trust us, the snow is not as soft as it looks; you don’t want to hit it with your face. Make sure your board is under you and let go of all buttons to stick the landing.

Pick up backpacks and use the items inside to battle it out with the other racers!

A tip from Yeti Mountain Ski Patrol: There are a wide variety of items available to Slopeside Kings contestants. As you race, try them out and learn the effects of each one, it could be the difference between winning and losing the race.

    Added Breakable Fences

I added breakable fences. Prior to this update fences would cause players to crash. I think it will be more fun to break through them. Be careful though crashing through fences isn't free, you'll pay a price in speed. On another note, I also added music from BitByBitSound. All levels except for the tutorial level have new music.Cheers

    Updated Controls

I'm experimenting with updating the controls for Slopeside Kings. The updates below have been added to the demo. Please let me know what you think.Previously, pressing the left control stick forward was only used for performing front flips while in the air. Now, pressing forward is required to move the snowboarder forward. I believe this will provide a better snowboarding experience.Flips will only occur once the player is at a certain height off the ground. This is to avoid small bumps from having such a large impact on movement. There is an indicator in the bottom right which will turn red if you cannot perform flips. The indicator will turn green once you are high enough to perform flips.Multiplayer ragdoll is in the game, but it still needs some work. The recovery is a bit jarring at the moment, but I hope to have that fixed soon.

Priorities may shift based on feedback and testing.1. Performance tune the game.2. Update animations in twists and flips, and overall smoothness.3. Update visuals to skyboxes and fog.4. Add character ragdoll to crashes.
