  DIGI-DOLL Monthly Dev Update (October #3)

  Hello, it's holographicquad (Two cousins creating games) here with another monthly update! (October🍂)The fall season is starting to settle in so grab a warm drink and cosy up because its time to get caught up on what we've been up to for the past month.Demo Last week we released a new demo with updated gameplay. You can read all about it from last week's post, or play the demo now to try the latest features. We definitely want to hear any feedback you have!Play DIGI-DOLLNew features:Leaning more into the coding side of things, here are some of my favorite new features that we addedMauves Speed items:We added new Items that allow DIgi-Mauve to move faster in the attic. This also means items arrive faster.Moving tables moves the tabletop furniture:Now when you move tables with items on top, the items will move along with the table instead of being left to float in the air.Walk Events:We added a new type of event that can happen while traversing the attic in the DIGI-DOLLSo far we have …Item Events - A random item is foundCharacter Events - Unlock a new toy NPC to add to your HomeChoice Events - Pick a choice to get a furniture ItemActivity Event - Unlock a new activity for Mauve to perform in the ToyboxAnd Our Newest Event... Walk Events! These events happen while your pedometer bar is filling, you will randomly run into a spinner or a shady coin trader!Art And AnimationsAs always, a lot of new art and animations got done. Here are some of the highlights!New Toys:The theme this month may have been animal lovers because we added three new animal themed toys!Pursianne :Rover:Featherlie:All the animations and artwork for all three of these toys are completed, and that makes us even closer to being done with creating toy NPCs! ( but lets wait and see till next month...)Since the last devlog, we also completed the entire cast of ragdolls!! :Our last addition is Wyn.   New Demo Out NOW!

  Hello, it's Holographicquad, the game developer duo! We're back with a brand new updated DEMO for DIGI-DOLL featuring BIG changes & new content. We can't wait for you to play!Why a New Demo?Back when we first started DIGI-DOLL, we wanted to get feedback and have people try out the game, so we created a prototype demo. But now we're getting closer to release and the game's completion, so we've created a new demo that plays much closer to the finished game!What's New?Here are some of the updates highlights:Shop Items - DIGI-DOLL now has digital shop items to help you discover more furniture faster. We've also added more customization options!Walk Events - A new type of event featuring two characters: the Spinner and the Shady Character. These can randomly occur in the DIGI-DOLL and allow you to earn more coins and discover more furniture!New Furniture - We've added new furniture to the demo. The full version will have MUCH more, of course!Text Options - Change the speed of dialogue text to your preference.Click and Hold - You can now click and hold on the DIGI-DOLL console for faster interactions.New UI - Refreshed user interface for a better experience!Bug FixesAnd much more!You can play the updated demo right now!   DIGI-DOLL Monthly Dev Update (September)

  Hello, it's holographicquad here with another monthly update!✨Here are some things we've been up to for the past month. While the focus of the past month was on adding new content until all levels are complete, we also managed to add some new features.A peek at new featuresThe UI got a nice update with character portraits at the bottom of the screen that act as an interactive chat bubble. This will allow you to submit your home and track the current client's style preferences. This UI change was much needed, as originally, most players never found the 'submit your design' button. Now it's much more obvious, don't you think?There will now be digital items in the shop. Things that should help getting items fast. We also added some cool effects to hopefully make shopping satisfying. Its still a work in progress, but we're about 70% done with coding all the items.Art and AnimationsThe past month so much art and animations were completed! We're still not done😓 but almost there😅. Here's a peek at some of the new content!Check out these two new characters:Raf and Dante (Can you guess their Home Styles?)New Furniture set: The Craft setNew Toy: Farm-themed Finger PuppetsNew Digital Toy NPC (Can be found in DIGI-DOLL): Army MenThat's all for now!   DIGI-DOLL Dev Update and Release Date Change

  Hello, it's holographicquad here with an update regarding the development of DIGI-DOLL.Delay: Unfortunately, we will be moving the release date of DIGI-DOLL until further notice, as the game is not yet complete and we don't want to rush its development. We still plan on releasing before the end of 2025.Development: In the meantime, we have done alot since Next Fest. The game's development is coming along nicely!For the past two months, we've been mostly working on adding new content, including: new toy characters, toy character actions, house interiors, events in the DigiDoll, and more!Here is a look at two of the new ragdolls coming to the full version: Meet Hank, he's the attic's resident farmer! And Clementine, an avid hiker! Check out some pieces from the new Space Age set.( Bed, Sofa, Chair and Lamp)And inside the DIGI-DOLL, we're adding lots of toys to be found. Here is the classic yo-yo toy that everyone loves!That's all for now! All this and so much more is coming to DIGI-DOLL full release!✨👋
