About this game
Every journey begins with the first ... Sword?! Or maybe two? The journey of a lifetime begins in a world full of magic, monsters and adventure in the nostalgic style of classic Japanese role-playing games. Defy evil in exciting battles, solve tricky puzzles, meet new friends and uncover the secrets of the world that lie hidden in the shadows of the past. It's A Life's Journey!
Discover the continent of Tasenas, a fantasy world with a mysterious past. As 15-year-old Hiro, you set out to find your grandfather's murderer and become entangled in a complex conspiracy. Meet new companions, hone your combat skills, and try to put a stop to the secret mastermind.
In turn-based battles, the AGI skill value determines how quickly characters and enemies take turns. When it's a character's turn, everyone involved in the fight waits politely for your inputs—a strategy rather than a rush.
Over the course of approximately 40-50 hours of gameplay, you'll unlock new TP modes, mostly story-driven. These allow you to decide how your characters earn technique points (TP) to use techniques in battle. Adapt the TP modes to your play style and your group.
In-game translation into English is available via “Options.” Skills and quest-journal texts are currently only available in German.

Demov available
Playable demo available now! In the demo, you'll play a small portion of the first chapter of "A Life's Journey" to get to know the basic mechanics, the soundtrack (I love awesome battle music!), and the mood of the game. Playtime is approximately 2-4 hours, depending on your desire to grind and your drive for perfectionism. ;) Steam Achievements are not included in the demo version. However, there is an integrated achievement system as a taster. The save games will most likely not be transferred to the full version. Since I'm currently working on some plugins, events, and balancing, among other things, there's a high probability that the save game might no longer be compatible with the full version...but maybe it will be, I'm not promising anything.
